Altering and Redefining the Boundaries of the Blue Mountain Rabbit District.—(Notice No. Ag. 3233.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of December, 1934.
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
WHEREAS to section thirty-one of the Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General, at the request of the Board of any rabbit district, may by Order in Council alter and redefine the boundaries of its district:
And whereas the district known as the “Blue Mountain Rabbit District” has been constituted under and for the purposes of the said Act:
And whereas the Board of the said district has, pursuant to the said section thirty-one of the said Act, requested that the boundaries of its district be altered and redefined, and it is deemed expedient to give effect to such request:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby alter and redefine the boundaries of the said district so constituted as aforesaid, and doth hereby declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto, and doth further declare that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Marlborough Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the northern boundary of Richmond Brook Estate on Richmond Brook; thence westerly by the northern boundaries of that estate and Section 1, Block III, and Section 1, Block II, Blue Mountain Survey District, to the Awatere River; thence south-westerly by the Awatere River to Small Grazing-run 161, and by the south boundaries of that run to the Jordan River; thence generally in a south-easterly direction by the eastern boundaries of Small Grazing-run 193 to Trig. Station Ref. Whernside, on the Chalk Range in Block II, Whernside Survey District; thence easterly by that range to Trig. Station Brian Boru, by the east boundary of Section 2, Block III, Whernside, to the Ure River, and by the Ure River to Small Grazing-run 183B, Whernside Survey District; thence by the south-western, southern, and south-eastern boundaries of that run to the Ure River; thence again by the Ure River to Dunsandel Stream; thence northerly by Dunsandel Stream and the boundaries of the Richmond Brook Estate to the Flaxbourne River; thence westerly by that river to the south-west corner of Section 4B, Block IV, Blue Mountain Survey District; thence northerly by the east boundaries of the Richmond Brook Estate to the point of commencement.

Amending Regulations under the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, relating to the Inspection of Meat.—(Notice No. Ag. 3234.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of December, 1934.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
PURSUANT to the Slaughtering and Inspection Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations in amendment of the regulations relating to the inspection of meat made under the said Act on the twenty-sixth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette on the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at page 987 (hereinafter referred to as “the said regulations”).
REGULATIONS.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.

The said regulations are hereby amended by inserting, following clause 20 thereof, the following additional clause:—
“20A. (1) The carcass of every ram or bull which upon inspection in accordance with these regulations is passed as suitable for consumption within New Zealand shall, in addition to any other brand or mark required by these regulations to be affixed to any such carcass, be branded or marked by the Inspector or under his authority with a brand or mark bearing the word “RAM” or “BULL,” as the case may be.
“(2) Every such brand or mark shall be affixed to each quarter and to each side of every carcass to which this clause applies at a point approximately in the centre of the outer side of every such portion of the carcass.”

Amending Regulations under the Stock Act, 1908, for the Prevention of the Introduction into New Zealand of Diseases affecting Stock.—(Notice No. Ag. 3236.)

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of December, 1934.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
PURSUANT to the Stock Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations in further amendment of the regulations for the prevention of the introduction into New Zealand of diseases affecting stock made under the said Act on the fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, and published in the Gazette on the seventh day of the same month, at page 3420 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”).
REGULATIONS.

These regulations shall come into force on the date of the publication thereof in the Gazette.

The Fifteenth Schedule to the principal regulations, as replaced by clause 2 of the regulations made under the said Act in amendment of the principal regulations on the 17th day of August, 1931, and published in the Gazette on the 20th day of the same month, at page 2310, is hereby revoked, and the following Schedule substituted therefor:—
