IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Mining Act, 1926, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby abolish the Warden’s Court at Ashburton.

Approving the Term of the License granted to the Paraeroa Sawmilling Company, Limited, for a Tramway across and along Part of Mangaeturoa Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of December, 1934.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Tramways Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the term of the license granted for a period of twenty-one years from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, by the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimarino to the Paraeroa Sawmilling Company, Limited, authorizing the said company to construct and maintain the tramway described in an agreement dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, between the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Waimarino and the Paraeroa Sawmilling Company, Limited, of which a copy is deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, the position of such tramway being shown on the plan endorsed on said agreement.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for the purposes of a street.

Consenting to the Acquisition of an Aerodrome-site by the Balclutha Borough Council.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of November, 1934.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority vested in him by the Local Authorities Empowering (Aviation Encouragement) Act, 1929, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the acquisition by the Balclutha Borough Council of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and to the establishment and maintenance of an aerodrome thereon.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area situated in the Land District of Otago, Borough of Balclutha, comprising approximately 70 acres, and being part railway reserve, part Crown land, part recreation reserve, and part street, bounded on the north by the Dunedin-Invercargill Railway, on the west by Glasgow Street, and on the east and south generally by the Clutha River. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 88493, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
