A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for sand-dune reclamation purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 23rd day of October, 1934.

Notice withdrawing Land from a Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section eight (c) of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, withdraw from the Otago Mining District that area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 21 acres, more or less, being an area of Crown land situated in Block VII, Lee Stream Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north generally by a public road, 1094·2 links; the crossing of a public road, 276 links, and the river-bank reserve on the south bank of the Deep Stream, 3160 links; towards the north-east by Run 260c and the crossing of a public road, 1401·1 links; towards the south by Section 1, Block VII, Lee Stream Survey District, and the crossing of a public road, 4687·5 links, and towards the west by Section 15, 573·6 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, and exempting from the above-described parcel of land one intersecting public road. As the same is more particularly shown on the plan marked N. 6/4/18, deposited in the Head Office of the Department of Mines at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of October, 1934.
