DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership existing between ROBERT JAMES CUNNINGHAM, of Glencoe Station, Farmer, and RONALD MCALISTER COOK, of the same place, Farmer, carrying on business as Farmers, has been dissolved by order of the Supreme Court as from the 13th day of August, 1934.

CHANGE OF NAME OF COMPANY.

The Companies Act, 1933, Section 32 (5).

I, JOHN MORRISON, Assistant Registrar of Companies, do hereby certify that G. H. Bradford, Skelton, Limited, incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908, as a private limited company on the 26th day of September, 1932, did on the 30th day of July, 1934, by entry in the minute-book of the company resolve to change the name of the said company to G. H. Bradford, Limited, and the Registrar having signified in writing his approval of such change of name I further certify that such new name has been entered on the Register in place of the former name in accordance with section 32 (5) of the Companies Act, 1933.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above company held on Wednesday, the 19th day of September, 1934, the following extraordinary resolutions were passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company would be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1933, and its amendments.

“That Alexander John McLennan, of Wellington, Public Accountant, be hereby appointed liquidator for the purposes of winding up the company.”

The creditors of the above-named company are required on or before Tuesday, the 30th day of October, 1934, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims to the undersigned, the liquidator of the said company, or, if required by notice in writing from the liquidator, to come in and prove such debts and claims or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

ANDERSONS LIMITED, having its registered office at Christchurch, Engineers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following minute approved by the Supreme Court was registered with the Registrar of Companies, Christchurch, on the 19th September, 1934:—

“The ordinary share capital of 44,000 ordinary shares of £1 each in the original capital is reduced to 44,000 ordinary shares of fifteen shillings (15s.) each.”

And notice is also given that an order of the Supreme Court was also registered confirming the reduction of capital and sanctioning a scheme of arrangement between the shareholders of the company providing for a cash payment to shareholders and a variation of the shareholders’ rights regarding the amount of dividends and other matters, and a variation of the rights between the company and its shareholders.

TAURANGA ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Part II of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, and the Tauranga Electric-power Board Loans Conversion Order, 1934, the Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the new securities authorized to be issued by the Tauranga Electric-power Board under the above-mentioned Act and Order in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set out in the First Schedule to that Order, and also the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the unconverted securities issued in respect of such loans, the said Tauranga Electric-power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the district, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such securities and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year until the last maturity date of such securities, being the 1st day of April, 1966, or until all such securities are fully paid off.”

We hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution appearing in the minutes of the Board meeting held on the 18th May, 1934.
