Land proclaimed as a Road, Road closed, and Land taken in Block XIV, Maungaru Survey District, Hobson County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Maungaru Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I do also hereby take the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection ten of the said section twelve.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 2 roods 19 perches.
Being portion of Allotment 83; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 2 roods 12 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotments S.E. 69 and 83; coloured green.

THIRD SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 rood 35 perches.
Being portion of Allotment 83; coloured blue.

All situated in Block XIV, Maungaru Survey District (Auckland R.D.), (Arapohue Parish). (S.O. 27567.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 87682, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of August, 1934.

Portion of a Public Reserve in the Borough of Napier set apart as a Site for Public Buildings of the General Government.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a site for public buildings of the General Government; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 7·54 perches.
Being Lots 3 and 4 on D.P. 3523, being part Section 142, Town of Napier (Education Reserve).

Situated in the Borough of Napier.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 87539, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 4th day of July, 1934.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road in Mount One One Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 3 roods 30·8 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Reserves 1633 and 1716, and Crown land.

Situated in Block XII, Mount One One Survey District (Westland R.D.). (S.O. 3096.)

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 87506, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of August, 1934.

Variation of Order in Council prohibiting Alienation of certain Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of August, 1934.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section one hundred and sixty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, that any Order in Council made thereunder may be at any time varied or revoked:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby vary an Order in Council made under the said section one hundred and sixty-seven, dated the fourth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, and affecting Hauturu East B 2 Section 2A 1A and other blocks, by exempting from prohibition of alienation the blocks mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

Notice of Intention to issue an Order in Council revoking the Reservation for Recreation Purposes over Section 1 and Part Section 2, Block I, Kerepeehi Township, Auckland Land District.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor-General may, from time to time, by Order in Council, revoke the reservation over any public reserve or part thereof, and thereupon the land comprised therein shall, if vested in the Crown or in any local authority or trustees deriving title from the Crown, become Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for recreation purposes, but is not required for that purpose, and it is expedient to revoke the reservation over the said land :
