NOTICE is hereby given in pursuance of sections 230 and 252 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above company will be held in the registered office of the company, 7 Ward Street, Hamilton, on Friday, the 2nd day of March, 1934, at 11.30 in the forenoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of, and of hearing any explanation which may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator thereof shall be disposed of.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and its amendments, and in the matter of OAKLEY AND SONS, LIMITED.

AT a meeting of shareholders (all being present) held at the registered office of the company on Friday, the 26th day of January, 1934, at 2.15 p.m., the following resolution was passed and the minute duly signed by all shareholders :—

“It is resolved by us, the undersigned shareholders holding in number and value more than three-fourths of the capital of the company, pursuant to sections 168 and 220 of the Companies Act, 1908, that Oakley and Sons, Limited, cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business and that it is advisable to wind up same, and that OSMYN HENRY OAKLEY and JAMES AINGER be appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of the above company, held on Wednesday, 31st January, 1934, it was resolved that the company by reason of its liabilities cannot continue its business and it was therefore decided to wind up same, and that REGINALD FRED PERCIVAL, of Auckland, Certified Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.

I, EDWIN THOMAS COX, Chairman of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932–33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board held on the 17th day of January, 1934, and confirmed on the 31st day of January, 1934, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of new securities for conversion of existing securities issued with respect to the loans set forth in the First Schedule of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board Loans Conversion Order, 1933, and the First Schedule of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board Loans Conversion Order, 1933 (No. 2), as published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 16th day of November, 1933, and the 7th day of December, 1933, respectively.
