12. “Stamp Duty” stamps as follow bearing a portrait of Her late Majesty Queen Victoria—denominations 2s., 5s., and £1 overprinted “Official”, “Niue”, “Rarotonga”, or “Samoa”; denominations 2s. 6d. and 10s. overprinted “Niue”, “Rarotonga”, or “Samoa”; and 3s. denomination overprinted “Samoa”.
13. Cook Islands stamps of denominations 1d., 1½d., 2½d., 5d., and 10d. bearing portrait of the late principal Ariki, Makea-Takau; and denominations ½d., 2d., 6d., and 1s. depicting the bird Torea or Wry-neck.
14. Aitutaki stamps of denominations ¼d., 1d., 2½d., 3d., 6d., and 1s. depicting Cook Island scenes, and 1½d. denomination bearing a portrait of the late Captain James Cook.
15. Niue stamps of denominations ½d., 1d., 2½d.; 3d., 4d., 6d., and 1s. depicting Cook Island scenes, and 1½d. denomination bearing a portrait of the late Captain James Cook; also 1½d. stamp of this series overprinted “Twopence”.
16. Penrhyn stamps of denominations ½d., 1d., 2½d., 3d., 6d., and 1s. depicting Cook Island scenes, and 1½d. denomination bearing a portrait of the late Captain James Cook.
17. Rarotonga stamps of denominations ½d., 1d., 2½d., 3d., 4d., 6d., and 1s. depicting Cook Island scenes, and 1½d. denomination bearing a portrait of the late Captain James Cook; also 1½d. stamp of this series overprinted “Twopence”.
18. Postage Due stamps, 1899 (value printed in red on white centre), of denominations 3d., 4d., 5d., 6d., 8d., 10d., ls., and 2s.
POSTAL STATIONERY.
19. Registered-letter envelopes, embossed envelopes, postcards, reply-paid postcards, letter-cards, and newspaper wrappers bearing a reproduction of any of the following stamps, or bearing a combination of stamp reproductions, or stamp reproductions and overprints, of which the following may form part:—
½d., 1d., and 2d. denominations of stamps described in section 1 of this Schedule.
½d., 1d., 2d., and 3d. denominations of stamps bearing a portrait of His late Majesty King Edward VII.
1d. stamps described in sections 3 and 6 of this Schedule.
1d. denomination of stamps described in section 13 of this Schedule.

Eastbourne Borough Council.—Cancellation of Unexercised Loan Authority.
In the matter of section 118 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926.
WHEREAS the Eastbourne Borough Council has been duly authorized to borrow by way of special loan the sum of forty thousand pounds for the purpose of installing a water and sewerage system in the borough, and the consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loan was given by Order in Council made on the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one:
And whereas in respect of the said sum of forty thousand pounds there has been raised and borrowed for the purpose aforesaid the sum of thirty-two thousand five hundred pounds, and it has not been found necessary to borrow the whole of the amount so authorized:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has duly notified the Eastbourne Borough Council in writing of his intention to cancel the loan authority to the extent of seven thousand five hundred pounds not exercised:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon me by section one hundred and eighteen of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, as amended by section forty-six of the Finance Act, 1931 (No. 4), and of all other powers me in this behalf enabling, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Finance, do hereby cancel the authority of the Eastbourne Borough Council to borrow under the loan authority hereinbefore referred to the sum of seven thousand five hundred pounds, being the amount in respect of which the said loan authority has not been exercised: Provided always that this cancellation is without prejudice to the validity in all respects of the loan of thirty-two thousand five hundred pounds already borrowed pursuant to the said loan authority.

Notifying Land in Hawke’s Bay Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 48 of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being the land known as Omana Settlement, was acquired by the Crown on the 3rd day of May, 1920, and became subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, as from that date.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—OMANA SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 926 acres 2 roods 7 perches, more or less, situate in Block VIII, Nuhaka Survey District, being Nuhaka 2c Block and part Section 2, and comprising all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Hawke’s Bay, Volume 49, folios 224 and 236.

Notifying Land in Hawke’s Bay Land District subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 48 of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being the land known as Corby Settlement, was acquired by the Crown on the 6th day of March, 1919, and became subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, as from that date.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—CORBY SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area being Section 13, Heretaunga Special Settlement, Block III, Woodville Survey District, containing 137 acres 1 rood 9 perches, more or less; Section 3, Block XI, Woodville Survey District, containing 55 acres 3 roods, more or less; and portion of Oringi-Waiaruhe No. 1a Block, being Lot 1 on plan 1397, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, containing 682 acres, more or less, and being all the land comprised in Certificates of Title, Hawke’s Bay, Volume 49, folios 219, 221, and 222.

PURSUANT to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 48 of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, notice is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being the land known as Woodlands Settlement, was acquired by the Crown on the 31st day of March, 1930, and became subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1925, as from that date.
SCHEDULE.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.—WOODLANDS SETTLEMENT.
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 138 acres, more or less, and being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 on plan 5287, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, and being part of Subdivision E, Heretaunga Block, and comprising all the land contained in Certificate of Title, Hawke’s Bay, Volume 79, folio 57.
