ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point, being the intersection of the middle of the Waimakariri River and the production of the middle of the road fronting Rural Section 7449, situated in Block VI, Christchurch Survey District, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally down the Waimakariri River to Stewart’s Gully; thence north-easterly down the middle of Stewart’s Gully and south-easterly down the Waimakariri River again to the sea; thence southerly generally along high-water mark of the sea to a point in line with the road forming the northern boundary of Rural Section 32867; thence to and along that road to the north-western corner of Rural Section 6856; thence southerly along the road forming the western boundary of that section to the road forming the northern boundary of Reserve 3061; thence north-westerly along that road to its intersection with the New Brighton Road; thence along the New Brighton Road to the bridge over the Avon River; thence to and along the left bank of the Avon River to the City of Christchurch hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly and southerly generally along the north-eastern and western boundaries of City of Christchurch to the River Avon; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of Straven Road; thence to and along the middle of Straven Road to a point distant 250 links from the northern side of Rata Road; thence along a right line parallel to and distant 250 links from the northern side of Rata Road to the eastern boundary of the land (known as Riccarton Bush) shown on plan 3884, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch; thence along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of that block to its westernmost corner; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 309, plan 6079, deposited as aforesaid, to the north-western corner of the said Lot 309; thence across Totara Road and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 310 and the eastern boundaries of Lots 311, 312, 313, 314, 315, plan 6079 aforesaid, to Hinau Road; thence across Hinau Road and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 208, and the eastern boundaries of Lots 209, 210, 211, 212, 213, 214, 215, 216, 217, 218, 219, 220, 221, on plan 2681, deposited as aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 221 aforesaid to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 319; thence to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 319, 320, and 321 on plan 2681 aforesaid, and the last boundary produced to the middle of the River Avon; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of Clyde Road; thence by a line along the middle of Clyde Road to the middle of Riccarton Road; thence westerly along Riccarton Road to a point in line with the middle of Wharenui Road; thence southerly along the middle of Wharenui Road to the middle of Blenheim Road; thence easterly and southerly along the middle of Blenheim Road to a point in line with the northern side of Princess Street; thence easterly along that line to the eastern side of Blenheim Road; thence along a right line being the production of the eastern side of Blenheim Road to a point on the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 145; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 145 to the south-western boundary of Rural Section 118; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the City of Christchurch, hereinbefore described; thence along the boundary of the City of Christchurch to Archer’s Bridge, near the southernmost corner of Rural Section 159; thence north-westerly along the middle of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 121, 146, 156, 211, 240, and 108, respectively; thence westerly along the middle of the road forming the northern boundaries of the last-named section and of Rural Sections 160, 389, Reserve 79 (Racecourse), and Rural Section 1155, respectively, to the westernmost corner of Rural Section 1226; thence north-easterly along the middle of the road forming the north-western boundaries of the last-mentioned section and Rural Sections 1209, 1236, 1089, 1714, 3282, 4414, 2354, 58, 2780, and Reserve 323, intersecting Reserve 946, and forming the north-western boundaries of Rural Sections 4326 and 7449 to the point of commencement.

COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded on the south-west by the City of Christchurch hereinbefore described from the Heathcote River to the Avon River; thence towards the west, north, and east generally by the Avon River, the Borough of New Brighton, and the Heathcote and Avon Estuary back to the point of commencement. Also all that area bounded towards the north generally by the City of Christchurch hereinbefore described, from the southernmost corner of the City of Christchurch to the estuary of the Heathcote River; thence across that river and by the said estuary to a point on the foreshore of McCormack’s Bay due west of the northernmost corner of Lot 61 shown on plan No. 3565, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch; thence towards the east generally by a line commencing at that point and proceeding due east to the said northernmost corner; thence along the eastern boundary of aforesaid Lot 61 and the eastern boundaries of Lots 57 and 55 to Monck’s Spur Road; thence along the northern boundary of Lot 55 and the western boundary of Lot 48 on deposited plan No. 3416 to and along the northern boundary of Lot 47 to its north-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the westernmost corner of the Redcliffe Rifle Range, and along the western boundary of that rifle range to its southernmost corner, and thence along the western boundary of Lot 1, deposited plan No. 4018, to the northern boundary of the Borough of Lyttelton; thence bounded towards the south generally by the Borough of Lyttelton to its north-western corner; thence towards the south-east generally by the summit of the Port Hills to the southernmost corner of Rural Section 452; thence towards the south-west and west by the road known as Worsley’s Track, running along the north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 338, through Rural Sections 493 and 10210, along the south-western boundaries of Rural Sections 31363, 31362, 2063, and the west and north-west boundaries of Rural Section 1325, and through Rural Section 383 to the north-eastern corner thereof, and by a right line to the middle of the Heathcote River at the southernmost corner of the City of Christchurch, the place of commencement.
