THIRD SCHEDULE.

AVON RIDING.—COUNTY OF WAIMAIRI.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the centre of Green’s Road at its junction with Shirley Road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of Green’s Road and Hills Road to the middle of Brigg’s Road; thence easterly along the middle of Brigg’s Road and Horse-shoe Lake Road to the middle of Bottle Lake Road; thence northerly along the middle of Bottle Lake Road to the middle of Travis Road; thence easterly along the middle of Travis Road to the middle of Frost’s Road; thence northerly along the middle of Frost’s Road to the middle of Beach Road; thence easterly along the middle of Beach Road to the western side of Racecourse Road, being the boundary of the Borough of New Brighton; thence southerly along the western side of Racecourse Road to the road forming the northern boundary of Reserve 3061; thence north-westerly along that road to its intersection with the New Brighton Road; thence along the New Brighton Road to the bridge over the River Avon; thence to and along the left bank of the River Avon to a point in line with the western side of Kerr’s Road; thence across the River Avon to the western side of Kerr’s Road, being the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence westerly generally by the said city boundary to a point in line with the southern side of Shirley Road; thence westerly to and along the southern side of Shirley Road to the eastern side of Hills Road; thence northerly along the eastern side of Hills Road to its intersection with the production of the south-western side of Shirley Road aforesaid; thence along the south-western side of Shirley Road, being the boundary of the City of Christchurch, to the centre of Green’s Road, the point of commencement.

AVONSIDE RIDING.—COUNTY OF HEATHCOTE.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the right bank of the River Avon in line with the western side of Kerr’s Road; then southerly and easterly along the boundary of the City of Christchurch to the intersection of the south-western side of Cuff’s Road with Page’s Road; thence proceeding south-easterly across the said Page’s Road to a point in line with the south-western side of the said Cuff’s Road; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern side of the said Page’s Road to the boundary of the City of Christchurch; thence northerly by the said city boundary across the said Page’s Road and north-easterly along the north-western side of that road to the boundary of the Borough of New Brighton; thence north-westerly generally by the Borough of New Brighton and the boundary of the Heathcote County to a point in line with the western side of Kerr’s Road, the point of commencement.

Redefining Boundaries of Borough of Napier.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Borough of Napier are hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by section 7 of the Napier Harbour Board and Napier Borough Enabling Act, 1933.

SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF NAPIER.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 711, Town of Napier; thence westerly by the southern boundaries of the said Section 711 and Section 633, Town of Napier, across the Marine Parade, and by the southern boundary of Section 586, Town of Napier, to the intersection of Ellison Street and Railway Reserve; thence southerly across Ellison Street and by the western boundary of the said railway reserve a distance of 5780 links; thence westerly through Section 657, Town of Napier, across McGrath Street, and by the southern boundary of Lot 26 on plan No. 5336 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier, and thence by the production of the southern boundary of the said Lot 26 for a distance of approximately 50 links to a stop-bank; thence northerly along said stop-bank for a distance of approximately 1260 links to the Boys’ High School Block; thence in a westerly and north-westerly direction by the south-western boundary of the said Boys’ High School Block for a distance of 2045·4 links; thence leaving the school boundary and proceeding for a distance of 125 links on bearing 297° 36′ to the Tutaekuri River-bank; thence along the said river-bank for a distance of 460·18 links on bearing 208° 38′ 50″; thence for a distance of 60 links on bearing 118° 22′ 30″; thence for a distance of 684·35 links on bearing of 208° 22′ 30″ to the southernmost corner of Lot 3 on plan No. 6187, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence generally in a north-westerly direction by the south-western boundaries of Lots 3, 9, 8, and 7 on the said plan No. 6187, and the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Lot 3 on the aforesaid plan No. 6187 to the Riverbend Road; thence generally in a northerly direction by the eastern side of the said Riverbend Road to the southern boundary of Lot 7 on plan No. 4219 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Napier; thence by the southern and eastern boundaries of the said Lot 7, the eastern boundaries of Lots 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and the eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 1 on the said plan No. 4219 to the Riverbend Road; thence north-westerly by the north-eastern side of the said Riverbend Road to Taradale Road; thence north-easterly by the south-eastern side of that road to Hyderabad Road; thence by the existing borough boundary as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 49, of 13th April, 1915, page 1101, to a point opposite Pandora Point; thence in a straight line on approximate bearing of 10° to a point on high-water mark situated approximately 140 links from the westernmost corner of Town Section 600 on approximate bearing of 66° 15′; thence by the high-water mark to a point at which the eastern mole crosses the high-water mark of the ocean; and towards the north and east by the high-water mark of the ocean to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to Regulation 46 of the Dangerous Goods Regulations, 1928, the following types of pump are hereby approved for delivery of petroleum spirit from underground tanks for purposes of retail sale:—

“Gilbert and Barker”—
Types T. 2177A and T. 2500.
Type T. 2300—Dual (approved only for use outside buildings).

“Hawke”—
Types V. 6, Model C, and V. 6, Model D.
Type V. 6, Model C—Dual (approved only for use outside buildings).

Theo-Samoa Multiple Petrol Pump (approved only for use outside buildings).

Eric Meter Pump—Model V-10, square dial meter.

“Satam”—
Pylon (for use at aerodromes).
G. 40 (for industrial use in connection with drums).
G. 6 (wall type).
G. 12 bis (with 60-gallon tank).

“Hammond”—Model A.

The above pumps, unless otherwise stated, are approved for use inside or outside buildings. Pumps noted as being approved for use outside buildings may be installed in areas complying with the provisions of clause 49 of the Dangerous Goods Regulations, 1928, or of clause 4 of the Dangerous Goods Regulations, 1928, Amendment No. 2. The approval of any pump is subject to compliance with the Weights and Measures Act, 1925.
