(9) Deleting from paragraph (b) of subclause (2) of clause 24 (A) the words “one-fourth,” and substituting therefor the words “one-third.”

(10) Deleting from clause 43 the symbol and figure “£2,” and substituting therefor the words “thirty-five shillings.”

(11) Deleting from Division I of clause 44 the words “Dairy Science,” and substituting therefor the words “Woodwork, Metalwork.”

(12) Deleting from Division II of clause 44 the words “Woodwork, Metalwork,” and inserting after the word “Agriculture” the words “Dairy Science.”

MANUAL AND TECHNICAL INSTRUCTION.

  1. The regulations relating to manual and technical instruction made by Orders in Council as shown in the attached Schedule are hereby amended by—

(1) Deleting from subclause (ii) of clause 76 the word “immediately.”

(2) Deleting from subclause (ii) of clause 76 the words “one-quarter,” and substituting therefor the words “one-third.”

(3) Deleting subclause (iii) of clause 76 and the proviso to that subclause and substituting therefor the following subclause:—

“(iii) Where a teacher is absent on leave for less than one week and receives pay for the period of his absence, a relieving teacher may not be employed except in special circumstances and with the approval of the Director.”

(4) Deleting from paragraph (b) of subclause (2) of clause 82A the words “one-fourth,” and substituting therefor the words “one-third.”

(5) Revoking “VI.—Returned Soldiers” and clause 93.
