I HEREBY certify that at a special meeting of the Patea Harbour Board held on Tuesday, 5th December, 1933, at 2 p.m., that the following resolution was carried :—
“That conversion under the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, and the Patea Harbour Board Loans Conversion Order, 1933, of debentures issued in respect of the following loans :—

AUCKLAND METROPOLITAN FIRE BOARD LOANS CONVERSION ORDER, 1933.
I, JOHN JAMES KINGSTON, Chairman of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board, do hereby certify that pursuant to the provisions of subsection (2) of section 9 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act, 1932-33, a resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board held on the 19th day of December, 1933, and confirmed on the 5th day of January, 1934, providing for the issue under Part II of that Act of new securities in conversion of existing securities issued in respect of the loans set forth in the First Schedule to the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board Loans Conversion Order, 1933, as published in the New Zealand Gazette on the 14th day of December, 1933, No. 84, page 3326.

Notice is hereby given to the holders of debentures or other securities issued in respect of the above-mentioned loans that it is the intention of the Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board, pursuant to the authority in that behalf vested in it by the said Act and Order, to convert all such debentures or other securities (except those in respect of which dissent is duly signified) into new debentures having new maturity dates and bearing interest at 4½ per cent. per annum.
The conversion will take effect from the 1st day of February, 1934. Application for conversion must be made in writing and be accompanied by the securities to which it relates. Dissent from the conversion of any existing debentures or other securities may be signified by the holder by notice in writing delivered to the Secretary, Maritime Building, Quay Street, Auckland, on or before the 15th day of February, 1934.
If notice of dissent from the conversion of any debentures or other securities is not received by that date the securities will be converted. The rate of interest on any debentures or other securities in respect of which dissent is signified as aforesaid will, by virtue of section 18 of the above-mentioned Act, be reduced to two-thirds of the original rate.
Further particulars as to the new debentures and the conversion generally may be obtained from the Secretary, Auckland Metropolitan Fire Board, Maritime Building, Quay Street, Auckland.

PARTINGTON.—Re the Estate of Florence Margaret Josephine Partington, late of 66 Richmond Avenue, Shoeburyness, Essex, England, but formerly of 5 Willoughby Park Road, Tottenham, Middlesex, England, Spinster, who died on the 22nd day of June, 1933, Intestate, and to whose Estate Letters of Administration were granted at the Principal Probate Registry of the Probate Division of the High Court of Justice on the 8th day of September, 1933, to Francis Henry Partington and Mrs. Grace Frances Clark.
PURSUANT to the Trustee Act, 1925, notice is hereby given that all persons claiming to be next of kin according to the Administration of Estates Act, 1925, and as such entitled to participate in the division or distribution of the estate of the said FLORENCE MARGARET JOSEPHINE PARTINGTON, deceased, are required to send in particulars of their claims to the undersigned, the solicitor for the said Francis Henry Partington and Mrs. Grace Frances Clark. Such claims are to be sent on or before the first day of May, 1934, after which date the said Francis Henry Partington and Mrs. Grace Frances Clark or other the legal personal representative for the time being of the said Florence Margaret Josephine Partington, deceased, will proceed to distribute the latter’s said estate amongst the persons entitled thereto, having regard only to the claims of which the said Francis Henry Partington and Mrs. Grace Frances Clark shall then have had notice and they will not be liable for any part of the said estate so distributed to any person of whose claim they shall not then have had notice.
Note.—In or about 1920 Harold Marmaduke Partington was living at Ruawai, Northern Wairoa, New Zealand, and about the same time Charles Arthur Partington was living at Birkenhead, Auckland, New Zealand. Both of them were sons of the late Charles William Partington of Woodford, Essex, England. The said Harold Marmaduke Partington and Charles Arthur Partington (if living) or if dead their descendants are entitled to share in distribution of the estate of the said Florence Margaret Josephine Partington.
