“Measurement for every part of a ton as follows :—

“Over 4 cubic feet and under 9 cubic feet .. 0 6
“Over 9 cubic feet and under 18 cubic feet .. 0 9
“Over 18 cubic feet and under 27 cubic feet .. 1 0
“27 cubic feet to a ton (40 cubic feet) .. 1 3

“Separate consignments of goods shall be computed separately, and computing the whole of one firm’s or person’s consignments in the lump or as a whole as one consignment shall not be allowed, saving and excepting that when any firm or person ships or receives more than one package of goods on any one day by the same ship, then wharfage shall be charged on the total measurement of all the packages, and not separately.

Consenting to Stopping Portion of a Road in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waikato County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped : 2 roods 13·1 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 6, 7, and 11, Village of Upper Rangiriri, and railway land.

Situated in Block III, Rangiriri Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27048.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 86469, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Land in Wellington Land District to be a Public Reserve.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by subsection one of section six of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being of opinion that there is a doubt or uncertainty as to whether the land described in the Schedule hereto was immediately before the commencement of the said Act a public reserve within the meaning of section two of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the said land is a public reserve within the meaning of the Act first above-mentioned for the purpose of a site for a maternity hospital.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 30·4 perches, more or less, being part of Section 11, right bank of Wanganui River, and being all the land comprised in Certificate of Title, Volume 247, folio 296 (Wellington Registry).

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

William Frederick Parker,
Martin Robert Lynch,
Edward Foster,
Stanley Foster, and
John Lumsden

to be the Ohinewai Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four, at half past seven o’clock p.m. as the time when, and the Ohinewai Hall as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1933.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by subsection two of section one hundred and one of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of a forest and scenery reserve, shall from and after the day of the gazetting hereof become subject to the Coal-mines Act, 1925, as if it were Crown land as defined by such last-mentioned Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 260 acres, more or less, being part Section 1, Block XII, Waro Survey District : Bounded towards the south-east by Section 1, Block XIII, Ohura Survey District, 5239·6 links, and Waro Road, 200 links; towards the south-west by Section 1, 6913·6 links, and State forest, 2171·6 links, both being in Block XVI, Waro Survey District; and towards the north-west by other part Section 1, Block XII, Waro Survey District, 8931·7 links : be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/2720/17, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
