Appointment of Members of Board of Health under the Health Act, 1920.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Health Act, 1920, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby reappoint

Lady Luke, C.B.E.,
William Irving, M.D. (Cantab.),
Francis William MacLean, Esquire, M.Inst.C.E., and
Frederick Castle, Esquire, J.P.,

as members of the Board of Health under the aforesaid Act for a period of three years from the 1st day of September, 1933, and further do hereby appoint

John Alexander, Esquire, C.M.G.,

to be a member of the said Board of Health for the same period from the 22nd day of September, 1933.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 2nd day of December, 1933.

Declaring Cosgrove Island and Rainbow Isles to be Sanctuaries under the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by section six of the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare the areas described in the Schedule hereto to be sanctuaries for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

ALL those areas in the Otago Land District, containing 8 acres and 3 acres 2 roods respectively, being Cosgrove Island and the Rainbow Isles.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 8th day of December, 1933.

Warrant appointing Conciliation Commissioner under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, and its Amendments.

BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by subsection four (a) and subsection six of section forty of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1925, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Samuel Ritchie to be a Conciliation Commissioner under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act for a period of six months from the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-four.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 8th day of December, 1933.

Appointing the District Licensing Authority for No. 8 Transport District in terms of the Transport Licensing Act, 1931.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Licensing Act, 1931, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Transport, do hereby appoint as from the date hereof, for a term expiring on the 31st day of December, 1934, the persons described in the Schedule hereto, as members of the District Licensing Authority for No. 8 Transport District, and I do hereby appoint James Douglas Hutchison to be Chairman of the said authority.
