IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Walter Leslie Fuljames, of Taupo,
to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the Rotorua Acclimatization District.

Captain (Retired) Edwin Grave Morris, Royal Navy, to Navy Office, additional, to date 3rd September, 1933, and as Director of Naval Reserves, vice Middleton, to date 25th November, 1933.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the following appointments, promotions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Military Forces :—
STAFF.
The appointment of Colonel J. L. Frazerhurst, v.d., M.A., M.D., F.R.I.P.H., Honorary Physician to the Governor-General, N.Z. Medical Corps, as Director of Medical Services, is extended to 30th November, 1934.
Major W. I. K. Jennings, D.S.O., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointment of General Staff Officer, Central Command, Wellington, dated 2nd November, 1933, and is appointed Staff Officer in Charge No. 10 Regimental District, and Brigade Major, 3rd N.Z. Mounted Rifles Brigade, Christchurch, dated 24th November, 1933.
Major R. A. Row, D.S.O., N.Z. Staff Corps, relinquishes the appointments of Staff Officer in Charge No. 10 Regimental District, and Brigade Major, 3rd N.Z. Mounted Rifles Brigade, Christchurch, dated 23rd November, 1933, and is appointed General Staff Officer, Central Command, Wellington, dated 24th November, 1933.
Lieutenant G. H. Heal, N.Z. Staff Corps, from G.H.Q. Training Depot, Trentham, is appointed Assistant Adjutant, 2nd Field Company, Corps of N.Z. Engineers, Central Depot, N.Z. Corps of Signals, 2nd Composite Company, N.Z. Army Service Corps, and 2nd Field Ambulance, Wellington. Dated 13th November, 1933.
THE CANTERBURY YEOMANRY CAVALRY.

Lieutenant A. A. McQueen, M.M., to be Captain. Dated 12th June, 1933.
Lieutenant E. V. Fry, N.Z. Corps of Signals, is attached under the provisions of para. 141, General Regulations, 1927. Dated 15th November, 1933.
REGIMENT OF N.Z. ARTILLERY.
Lieutenant W. S. Wilson, 1st Field Battery, to be Captain. Dated 11th December, 1933.
2nd Lieutenant A. McD. Williams, Regimental Supernumerary List, resigns his commission. Dated 24th November, 1933.
