Land set apart as a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—ROTORUA FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 137 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less, being part of Section 1, Block I, Tuhi ngamata East Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-east, east, and south by Run 92; and towards the south-west by Whangamata No. 2E, Section 1B, and another part of Section 1 aforesaid. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 46/20, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plans S.O. 25198, N.L.C. 4264A.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 8th day of December, 1933.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being portions of Provisional State Forest No. 105 set apart by Proclamations dated the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and the sixteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, and gazetted on the third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and the twenty-fourth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-nine, respectively, are required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forests, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hobson County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 15 perches, more or less, and being portion of Section 3, Block XIV, Mangakahia Survey District, set apart as portion of Provisional State Forest No. 105 by New Zealand Gazette No. 58 of the 3rd August, 1922, page 1921: Bounded commencing at a point on a public road being the northernmost corner of Section 6, Block XIV, Mangakahia Survey District; towards the north-west by another portion of Provisional State Forest No. 105 set apart by New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the 24th October, 1929, page 2706, by a line bearing 24° 28′, distance 272·2 links, to a public road; thence towards the north-east by that public road bearing 120° 13′ 40″, distance 443·8 links, bearing 136° 50′ 20″, distance 559·6 links; thence towards the south-west generally by Sections 18 and 6, Block XIV, Mangakahia Survey District, by lines bearing 290° 40′, distance 744·3 links, bearing 303° 33′, distance 219·1 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/91/6B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hobson County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being part of a block of land containing 473 acres set aside as portion of Provisional State Forest No. 105, by New Zealand Gazette No. 58 of the 3rd August, 1922, page 1921: Bounded commencing at a point on a public road bearing 84° 45′, distance 66·2 links, from Peg LXXVIII on S.O. Plan 23505; towards the west and north by that public road by lines bearing 353° 19′ 30″, distance 302·0 links, bearing 88° 11′, distance 401·1 links; towards the east and south-east by another portion of Provisional State Forest No. 105 set apart by New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the 24th October, 1929, page 2706, by lines bearing 172° 55′, distance 175·3 links, bearing 231° 48′, distance 529·5 links, bearing 233° 42′, distance 69·2 links, to the aforesaid public road; thence towards the west by that public road by a line bearing 19° 51′, distance 246·1 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid measurements more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/91/6C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Also all that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hobson County, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 2 roods 18 perches, more or less, and being portions of Provisional State Forest No. 105, and being all the land described in the Second Schedule of the Proclamation setting apart the aforesaid portion of provisional State forest dated the 16th day of October, 1929, and being published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 72 of the 24th October, 1929, page 2706. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/91/6D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
