As the same are more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/91/6E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1931, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land containing 804 acres 1 rood 12 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks XIII and XIV, Awaroa Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Whaingaroa Survey District, Auckland Land District, being part of the land called Te Akau B 12 No. 1 Block, and being all the land edged red on plan No. 27342, blue, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Auckland, and being subject to right-of-way 25 links wide as shown on the said plan.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of December, 1933.

Land reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the land described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a scenic reserve under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 9,000 acres, more or less, and being Reserve 4326 (formerly part of Run 233A), situated in Blocks X, XIII, and XIV, Boyle Survey District, and Blocks I and II, Skiddaw Survey District, and being bounded as follows: Commencing at a point at the junction of Blind Stream and the Nina River and thence easterly and southerly along the banks of the Nina, Lewis, and Boyle Rivers to Ducking Stream; thence southerly and westerly by the edge of the bush and the Doubtful River to Devilskin Stream; thence northerly along the east bank of that stream to the upper limit of the bush; thence easterly, northerly, and westerly generally by the upper limit of the bush to Blind Stream; thence by the east bank of the said stream to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 4/683, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of December, 1933.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Road Land in Block VII, Belmont Survey District, taken or acquired for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule hereto (and which was taken or acquired for the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway, and is not now required for such purpose) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be maintained by the Makara County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
