A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the roads in Karioi Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of roads closed :—

2 3 23·6 Sections 9, 10, and 11, Block VII, Town of Waitangi, and parts Murimotu 4A Block.

All situated in Block XII, Karioi Survey District. (S.O. plan 170/47.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 8/4/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2611, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of January, 1933.

Revocation of the Reservation of Portion of a Permanent State Forest.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Forests Act, 1921–22, and pursuant to a resolution in that behalf passed by both Houses of Parliament, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke (so far only as it relates to the area of land described in the Schedule hereto) the Proclamation of the twenty-eighth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, whereby the said land (with certain other land) was set apart as a permanent State forest, and declare that the reservation thereby effected is (so far as aforesaid) revoked accordingly.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing approximately 390 acres, being part of Allotment 27, Waipa Parish, situated in Block VII, Newcastle Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north-west by Allotment 77A, Waipa Parish, 2380 links; towards the south-west by Allotment 77A and Lot 2 of Allotment 190, Waipa Parish, 1876·4 and 1280 links; towards the north by another part of Allotment 27 aforesaid, 545·5, 1653·0, 318·3, 167·2, 194·3, and 247·6 links and a stream; towards the north-east and north-west by another part of Allotment 27 aforesaid, 85·0, 264·0, 188·8, 179·6, 228·7, 422·8, 239·0, 305·0, 475·2, and 533·2 links, a stream, 55·0, 391·1, 294·6, 562·4, 174·7, 437·7, 86·9, 118·0, 168·7, 243·2, 223·8, 617·2, 832·1, 910·3, and 657·1 links; towards the north-east by Allotment 43, Waipa Parish, and a public road 3050 and 300 links; and towards the south by the Mangaoe Stream; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 27/4, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Auckland plan S.O. 26852.)

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—AUCKLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less, being part of Section 60H, Riverhead Homestead Settlement, situated in Blocks VI and VII, Kumeu Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards the north and east by a public road; towards the south by another part of Section 60H aforesaid (Riverhead Plantation—Gazette 1926, page 1193); and towards the north-west by Allotment 45, Paremoremo Parish. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 17/33, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. plan 26889.)

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing by admeasurement 33 acres 1 rood, more or less, being part of State Forest No. 14, situated in Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north by Section 12, Block XV aforesaid, 2796·5 links; towards the east by Section 4, Block XVI, Tutamoe Survey District, and Crown land, 2046·5 links; and towards the south-west generally by another part of State Forest No. 14 (Gazette 1886, page 1304), 22·0, 322·1, 157·6, 231·8, 118·0, 492·6, 365·4, 198·2, 408·7, 1392·9, and 28·5 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 8/17, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 26779.)
