The salaries and rates of pay as set out shall be subject as to both subdivisions to reduction on the same scale and in the same manner as salaries and rates of pay were reduced under the provisions of the Finance Act, 1931, and the National Expenditure Adjustment Act, 1932.
2. By revoking Regulation 7 of the regulations contained in the Second Schedule to the said regulations, and by adding to Regulation 9 thereof the following proviso:-
“Provided that the order of classification of officers in Subdivision I of the First Division shall be determined according to the practice of the Department in force at the time when the necessity for the determination of such order arises and not according to the order in which the respective positions are enumerated in the First Schedule hereto.”

Appointment of Officer under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of the provisions of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of the Official Appointments and Documents Act, 1919, appointed
Roderick Munro Jack, of Manunui,
to be an officer for the purposes of Part II of the first-mentioned Act in respect of the Waimarino Acclimatization District.
