COUNTY OF RAGLAN.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN OF £600 FOR RUAWARO DRAINAGE WORKS.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and amendments thereto, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves as follows :—

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Raglan County Ruawaro Drainage Loan, 1931, of £600, authorized to be raised by the Raglan County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of carrying out land-drainage works within the Ruawaro Drainage Special-rating District of the County of Raglan, and with the sanction of the Local Government Loans Board, and the consent of the Governor-General in Council had and obtained and gazetted, the said Council hereby makes and levies special rates of fivepence in the pound on all land classified “A,” two and a half pence in the pound on all land classified “B,” and one penny farthing in the pound on all land classified “C” on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Ruawaro Drainage Special-rating District of the County of Raglan, and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, which is for a period of twenty-five years, at the rate of interest of four pounds five shillings per centum per annum, together with an additional charge of two pounds two shillings per centum per annum to provide the necessary sinking fund, and be payable yearly on the first day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five years or until the loan is fully paid off.

The boundaries of the Ruawaro Drainage Special-rating District are as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 4 of Block VI, Rangiriri Survey District; thence running south-east and south along the eastern boundaries of Sections 4, 8, 9, school-site, 14, and 4 of Block X, 5, 12, and 11 to the south-west corner of Section 11; thence along the southern, western, and northern boundaries of Section 10 to the southern corner of Section 5 of Block X; thence north along the western and northern boundaries of Section 5 and the western boundary of Section 2 to the south-east corner of Section 141; thence along the southern, western, and northern boundaries of Section 141 to the Whangape Lake; thence running east, north, and again east along the shores of the said Whangape Lake to the point of commencement.

The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Raglan County Council held on the 12th day of July, 1933.

The Common Seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Raglan has hereunto been affixed, by order of the said Council, this 12th day of July, 1933, in the presence of—

Notice is hereby given that the following resolution was passed by the shareholders of Delicacies Limited at a meeting held on the 24th day of June, 1933.

Resolved—

“The company having ceased to trade and having disposed of its assets and paid its debts, and as the objects for which it was formed no longer exist, that the company go into voluntary liquidation forthwith, and that REGINALD FRANCIS FRANKLIN be appointed Liquidator.”

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

Notice is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto subsisting between HERBERT FRY and FRANK TRELOAR, carrying on business at Wanganui as Shopfitters and Cabinet-makers under the style of “Fry and Treloar,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 7th day of November, 1932. Mr. Treloar will carry on the business as heretofore in the same premises.
