NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of the members of the above-named company will be held at the office of the Liquidator, First Floor, City Chambers, Queen Street, Auckland, on Monday, 7th August, 1933, at 2.15 p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before the meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that might be given by the Liquidator, and also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidator shall be disposed of.

MANIOTOTO COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 129 (c) OF THE MINING ACT, 1926.
——

RESOLVED at a meeting of the Maniototo County Council, held at Naseby on the 5th day of July, 1933, that the Council, pursuant to and in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 129 (c) of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power it thereunto enabling, doth hereby appoint the following persons—namely, Owen Reginald Cambridge, Contractor; David Chirnside, Labourer; John Hamilton, Labourer; Allion Ernest Harding, Baker; Francis McAtamney, Farmer; James Edward Kennedy, Labourer; and George Richard Reid, Labourer, all of Patearoa, to constitute a committee to be known as “The Patearoa Water-supply Committee,” and doth hereby delegate to such committee the power to apply for a water-race out of the Sowburn Creek pursuant to section 129 of the Mining Act, 1926, for the purpose of providing water for domestic purposes and irrigation, as such committee shall from time to time prescribe, in the township of Patearoa, and all the powers conferred upon the said Council by the Mining Act, 1926, in respect of such water-race: And, further, that the members of the said committee shall hold office thereon during the pleasure of the said Council, and may from time to time be removed therefrom and other suitable persons appointed thereto in their stead by resolution of the said Council.
