Court of New Zealand for the purposes of the Judicature Act,
1908, and Assistant Clerk of the Magistrates’ Court at
Palmerston North for the purposes of section 19 of the
Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928, as from the 24th day of April,
1933;
Thomas Percival Pain
to be Registrar at Hokitika of the Supreme Court of New
Zealand for the purposes of the Judicature Act, 1908; Clerk
of the Magistrates’ Court at Hokitika for the purposes of the
Magistrates’ Courts Act, 1928; Clerk of the Warden’s Courts,
Receiver of Gold Revenue, and Mining Registrar, at Hokitika,
Ross, and Kumara, for the Mining District of Westland, con-
stituted under the Mining Act, 1926; Official Assignee at
Hokitika for the Supreme Court District of Westland for the
purposes of the Bankruptcy Act, 1908; Clerk of the Licensing
Committee for the District of Westland; and Local Patent
Officer at Hokitika for the purposes of section 115 of the
Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1921-22, as from the
24th day of April, 1933.

Whereas notice was published in the Gazette of the
17th April, 1930, of the Native Minister’s intention
to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the
Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment
Act, 1929, to Mahoenui A 2B l and other Blocks, and
known as the Mahoenui Development Scheme :
Now, therefore, I, the said Native Minister, do decide to
apply the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act,
1931, to the additional land mentioned in Schedule hereto as
a part of such scheme, and hereby give notice of my intention
accordingly.
No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister,
is entitled to exercise any rights of ownership in connection
with the land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the
carrying-out of the development scheme.
Dated at Wellington, this 27th day of April, 1933.
