Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject
to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation
of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being part
of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1622, set apart by
Proclamation dated the eleventh day of October, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted on the fourteenth
day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and,
in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land
shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease
to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to
the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 168 acres 2 roods, more or less, being part of
Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1622, situated in Block
VI, Kaniere Survey District: As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked L. and S. X/98/554,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and
Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of
April, 1933.

Amending a Proclamation setting apart Crown Land as and for
Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen,
and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of May, one
thousand nine hundred and nineteen, at page 1283 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”), certain Crown
lands in Westland, Marlborough, Otago, and Southland
Land Districts were set apart as and for provisional State
forests in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislation
and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918:
And whereas an error was made in the Schedules to the said
Proclamation by describing an area known as Reserve 1688,
situated in Blocks X, XI, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, Arnot
Survey District, Blocks I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, IX, X, XI,
XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, Matakatea Survey District,
Block XII, Okuru Survey District, and Block XIII, Clarke
Survey District, Westland Land District, as containing
88,000 acres, more or less; and whereas the correct area is
96,300 acres, more or less, and it is desirable that the error
be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section three
of the Forests Amendment Act, 1925, do hereby amend the
said Proclamation by substituting for the area hereinbefore
referred to in the Schedule to the said Proclamation the
following area—namely, 96,300 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 29th day
of April, 1933.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Lots 21 and 38A 2a 1,
Rangitaiki Parish, Block V, Whakatane Survey District,
Auckland Land District, to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto
were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on
the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
nineteen, duly laid out as road-lines in pursuance of sections
forty-eight, forty-nine, and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road-lines should be proclaimed
as public roads and a notification to that effect has been
forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned, in terms of subsection two of section four hundred
and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines
should be proclaimed as public roads:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and
eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described in the Schedule
hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as
roads:—

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/2075,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey,
at Wellington, under No. 2619, and thereon coloured as above
mentioned.

under the Seal of that Dominion, this 28th day of

State Forest.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto
as part of a provisional State forest.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.—WESTLAND FOREST-
CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL those areas of national-endowment land in the Westland
Land District, containing by admeasurement 84 acres, more
or less, and described as follows:—
All that area, containing by admeasurement 33 acres,
more or less, situated in Block IV, Mahinapua Survey District,
and bounded as follows: Commencing at the intersection of
the eastern boundary of Section 2012 with the southern side
of Adair’s Road; thence running 225° 32′, for 249·7 links;
