Notice of Intention to take Land in Block I, Waitemata Survey District, for the Purpose of a State Forest.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a State Forest. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Riverhead and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 2 acres 0 roods 33·4 perches.
Being part Allotment S.F. 69, Ararimu Parish.

Situated in Block I, Waitemata Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 27143.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 85018, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks III, VII, and VIII, Mapara Survey District, for the Purposes of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Kopaki, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Rangitaiki Rating Area.—Penalty on Overdue Rates.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 9th January, 1933.

IN pursuance of section 76 of the Rating Act, 1925, and the Rangitaiki Land Drainage Act, 1910, and its amendments, the ratepayers within the district constituted by the last-mentioned Act are hereby notified that 10 per cent. additional will be added to all rates for the year ended 31st March, 1933, unpaid on 27th February, 1933.

Rates may be paid at any money-order office or to the Collector of Rates, P.O. Box 1659, Auckland.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor, Rotorua Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.

BOROUGH OF ROTORUA.

WHAKAREWAREWA SEWERAGE LOAN.—SPECIAL AREA.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that the number of votes recorded in favour of the proposal was 15, the number of votes against the proposal was 2, and the number of informal votes was 2. I therefore declare the proposal to install the sewerage system in the special-rating area adjacent to the Native Village of Whakarewarewa to be duly carried.

WHAKAREWAREWA SEWERAGE LOAN.—NATIVE VILLAGE.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies Loans’ Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that the number of votes recorded in favour of the proposal was 81, the number of votes recorded against the proposal 80, and the number of informal votes 2. I therefore declare the proposal to install the sewerage system in the Native Village of Whakarewarewa to be duly carried.
