boundaries of Blocks XIV and XV aforesaid, a distance of 14000 links; thence due north 17800 links and due east to the foot of the terrace bounding Pastoral License 1003 (Gazette 1928, page 617); thence northerly along the foot of said terrace to the most north-western corner of the said license; thence along a right line in a north-westerly direction to the point of commencement.
Also all those areas in the Westland Land District containing approximately 6,510 acres and described as follows: All that area containing approximately 680 acres being formerly part of Provisional State Forest No. 1685 (Gazette 1919, page 1285—ordinary provisional State forest), situated in Blocks VII and XI, Bruce Bay Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the most northern corner of Section 890 and proceeding along the western boundary of the said section produced to the Makawhio River; thence along the right bank of the said river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Native Reserve 786; thence to and along the said northern boundary to the top of Jacob’s Bluff; thence easterly along the top of the said bluff to the south-western boundary of Native Reserve 780; thence along the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of Native Reserve 780 to its most eastern corner, and thence along a right line to the point of commencement. Also all that area containing approximately 5,830 acres, being formerly part of Provisional State Forest No. 1648 (Gazette 1920, page 2845—national-endowment provisional State forest), situated in Blocks XI, XII, and XV, Bruce Bay Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the south-western corner of Education Endowment Reserve 120, Block IX., Karangarua Survey District, and proceeding along the southern boundary of Block XII, Bruce Bay Survey District; thence along the eastern boundary of Block XV aforesaid, 7000 links; thence due west to the boundary of Pastoral License 1003 (Gazette 1928, page 617), and northerly along the eastern boundary of the said license to the Makawhio River; thence along the right bank of the said river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 890; thence to and along the said boundary to the point of intersection with a right line due west from the south-western corner of Section 903; thence along this line, the southern boundaries of a road reserve and Section 903, to the southernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence due south 1000 links and along a right line south-easterly to a point on the left bank of the Mana-kai-una River in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2640; thence across that river to and along the said boundary of Section 2640 to a point 3000 links south of Scot Road; thence along a right line due east to the western boundary of Education Endowment Reserve 120 and along that boundary to the point of commencement.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 146/8, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Also all that area in the Westland Land District containing approximately 20,700 acres, being formerly part of Provisional State Forest No. 1683 (Gazette 1919, page 1286—ordinary provisional State forest) situated in Blocks II, III, VI, VII, X, and XI, Karangarua Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the northernmost corner of Reserve 337 and proceeding south-easterly along its north-eastern boundary, and that boundary produced 2000 links; thence along a right line south-westerly to the north-eastern corner of Section 2575, and along a line bearing 173° 45' to the southern boundary of Block X aforesaid; thence again along the said block boundary, and the southern and eastern boundaries of Block XI aforesaid, to northern bush edge bounding the open slopes of the Copland Range; thence along the edge of the bush westerly and north-easterly to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Block VII aforesaid, thereby excluding the open tops and spurs of the Copland Range; thence along the eastern boundaries of Blocks VII and III of the said survey district to the Main South Road; thence westerly along the south side of the said road, the left bank of the Cook River, and again along the said Main South Road to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 752, and along the production of the said boundary to the left bank of the Oinotamata River; thence along the said left bank to the aforesaid Main South Road and again along the south side of that road and the southern and eastern sides of the Cook-Karangarua Road to the point of commencement.
Also all that area in the Westland Land District containing approximately 34,338 acres, being formerly Provisional State Forest No. 1696 (Gazette 1919, page 1284—ordinary provisional State forest, 6,238 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1641 (Gazette 1920, page 2844—national-endowment provisional State forest, 1,670 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1642 (Gazette 1920, page 2844—national-endowment provisional State forest, 2,910 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1643 (Gazette 1920, page 2844—national-endowment provisional State forest, 12,970 acres), part of Provisional State Forest No. 1644 (Gazette 1920, page 2844—national-endowment provisional State forest, 9,800 acres), and part of Provisional State Forest No. 1721 (Gazette 1924, page 1579—national-endowment provisional State forest, 750 acres), situated in Blocks VII, VIII, X, XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Gillespie’s, and Blocks V, IX, X, and XIII, Waiho Survey Districts, and bounded generally as follows: Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 2477, Block XV, Gillespie’s Survey District, and proceeding along the northern boundaries of that section and Sections 2476 and 2475, across the Gillespie’s—Cook River Road, and again along the northern boundary of Section 2475; thence along the western boundary of Section 2475, produced to the right bank of the Clearwater River; thence along the said river bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2437; thence northerly to and along the said boundary and the northern boundaries of Sections 2437 and 2436, a road reserve, and Section 2490 produced to the western boundary of Block XIV, Gillespie’s Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Blocks XIV and X, Gillespie’s Survey District to the south side of the Gillespie’s—Cook River Road; thence along a right line in a north-easterly direction to the south-western corner of Reserve 335; thence along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said reserve to a point ten chains from the high-water mark; thence easterly along a line ten chains from and parallel to the high-water mark to the western boundary of Native Reserve 17; thence along that boundary and the southern boundary of said reserve produced to the right bank of the Waihapi River; thence along the said river bank to a point ten chains from the high-water mark; thence again by a line ten chains from and parallel to the high-water mark to the production of the southern boundary of Section 2803; thence to and along the southern boundaries of Section 2803, a road reserve, and Section 2808 produced to the Waikukupa River; thence along the left bank of the said river to the southern boundary of Block V, Waiho Survey District; thence along the said block boundary to the right bank of the Waikukupa River and along that river bank 11600 links to a creek; thence along this creek to and along a line bearing 317° 30' to the southernmost corner of Section 2907, (Provisional State Forest No. 1723—Gazette 1925, page 1023), and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 2807 aforesaid 2900 links to the western boundary of Run 16; thence south-easterly along the said run boundary to the north-western boundary of Scenic Reserve No. 1018 (Reserves, &c., Act, 1928, section 14); thence along the said reserve boundary 3900 links to Paddy’s Creek and along the right bank of the said creek to its confluence with the Waikukupa River; thence across this river and southward along its left bank to the aforesaid boundary of Scenic Reserve No. 1018; thence again along the north-western boundary of said reserve to the right bank of the Clearwater River; thence along the said river bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2497; thence to and along this boundary, the northern and western boundaries of Section 2497 aforesaid, and across a road reserve to the outlet of Lake Matheson; thence along the shores of the said lake to the right bank of the outlet creek, and along the said creek to the Clearwater River; thence again along the aforesaid river bank to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 2477 and to and along the said boundary to the point of commencement. Excluding there-from Lakes Mueller, Gibbs, and Gault, and all roads.
As the same are more particularly delineated on plan No. 138/10, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the seventeenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Land Act, 1908, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.
