ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of March, 1933.

THE RIGHT HON. J. G. COATES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section fourteen of the Customs Acts Amendment Act, 1932-33, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and being of opinion that it is equitable so to do, doth hereby exempt from the export duty imposed by section three of the Gold Duty Act, 1908, and by section thirteen of the Customs Acts Amendment Act, 1932-33, articles of gold plate, jewellery, or ornament which the Collector is satisfied are not being exported on sale or for the purposes of trade, and are either—
(a) Bona fide heirlooms which have become the property of some person outside New Zealand; or
(b) Bona fide gifts sent abroad by some person resident in New Zealand; or
(c) Bona fide household effects the property of some person leaving New Zealand to reside abroad permanently and which have been in use in the household of that person or of his family for a period of at least twelve months.

Setting apart Crown Land under Section 161 of the Land Act, 1924.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and sixty-one of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for disposal under the section of the Act mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 11, Block VI, Kerikeri Survey District: Area, 183 acres 3 roods 30 perches.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 7th day of March, 1933.

Opening Land in Otago Land District for Sale or Selection.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1924, and the amendments thereof, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare and provide as follows, that is to say:—

The rural land enumerated in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for disposal by way of sale or selection on Monday, the tenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, at the price specified in the said Schedule, and for the purposes of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Land Act, 1924, the said land shall be deemed to be “heavy bush” land.

The said land may be purchased for cash, or on deferred payments, or be selected on renewable lease.

After the first half-year's rent (or the deposit on deferred payments, as the case may be) has been paid by the selector, the further instalments of rent (or such parts of the instalments on deferred payments as consist of interest), payable by him for the period specified in the Schedule hereto, shall not be demanded: Provided that if at any time during the first five years of his occupancy the selector disposes of his interest in the land the rent or interest so conceded shall be paid by him in full, and thereupon the Land Board may remit such instalments of rent or interest payable by the incoming tenant, not exceeding in the aggregate the amount previously conceded to the selector, as the Board shall think fit.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—OTAGO MINING DISTRICT.—CLUTHA COUNTY.—CATLINS SURVEY DISTRICT.
THIRD-CLASS LAND.
(Exempt from the payment of rent or interest for four years.)
SECTION 61, Block IV: Area, 312 acres 1 rood 24 perches. Capital value, £100. Deposit on deferred payments, £5; half-yearly instalment on deferred payments, £3 1s. 9d.; renewable lease, half-yearly rent, £2.

Revoking Notice exempting Crown Lands from certain Provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section seven of the Mining Act, 1926, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette, revoke the notice dated the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 11 of the sixteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, on page 285, exempting Crown lands from certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1926:
Also the notice dated the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 13 of the second day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three, page 373, exempting Crown lands from certain provisions of the Mining Act, 1926.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 10th day of March, 1933.
