Change of Name of Southern Portion of Murray’s Bay (known as “Little Murray’s Bay”) to “Mairangi Bay,” County of Waitemata.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is considered expedient that the name of the locality comprising the southern portion of “Murray’s Bay” (known as “Little Murray’s Bay”), in the County of Waitemata, should be changed to “Mairangi Bay”:
Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality comprising the southern portion of “Murray’s Bay” (known as “Little Murray’s Bay”), in the County of Waitemata, shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Mairangi Bay,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-two, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of October, 1931.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a gravel-pit over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
SECTION 12, Block X, Blackstone Survey District: Area, 47 acres 3 roods 8 perches.

Cancelling the Reservation over Parts of a Reserve in Block XI, Rangiora Survey District, Canterbury Land District.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby cancel the reservation as a reserve for a gravel-pit over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1924.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods 28·3 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 9 of Reserve No. 94, Block XI, Rangiora Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west and north by Lots 7 and 8 of the said Reserve No. 94, 176·4 links and 177·28 links respectively; towards the east by the Main North Road, 339·38 links; towards the south-east by part of Lot 9 of the said Reserve No. 94, 175·02 links; and again towards the south-west by the Rangiora-Woodend Road, 339·65 links.
Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 16·2 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 9 of Reserve No. 94, Block XI, Rangiora Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the east by the Main North Road, 54·96 and 152·13 links; towards the south-west by the Rangiora-Woodend Road, 151·83 and 54·96 links; and again towards the north-west by part of Lot 9 of the said Reserve No. 94, 101·24 links.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1912/563A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of a reserve duly set apart for the purposes of a gravel-pit:
And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for a public pound:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reservation over the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a gravel-pit to a reserve for a public pound.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Cinematograph Films Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations in amendment of the Cinematograph Films (Censorship of Posters) Regulations made on the twenty-ninth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, and published in the Gazette on the second day of October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at page 2876.
