Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1931, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

RANGITOTO-TUHUA 74B 4, Blocks I, II, and VI, Tuhua Survey District: Area, 351 acres 0 roods 30 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of January, 1932.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Otamatea D 4B, D 2, D 3, and Oneroa Blocks, Block V, Otamatea Survey District, North Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto were, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, duly laid out as a road-line in pursuance of sections forty-nine, fifty, and fifty-two of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Native Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—

1 1 23 Otamatea D 4B Block; coloured pink.
0 0 17 Otamatea D 2 Block; coloured yellow.

Situated in Block V, Otamatea Survey District. (Plan 12761, red.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/1982, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 2544, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of January, 1932.
