(c) In contributing schools no Grade 2 female assistant shall receive an addition of £30 to the salary prescribed in Schedule IV of the regulations for staffs and salaries in public schools unless she is the infant mistress.
(d) If the contributing school prior to the withdrawal of Forms I and II was entitled either to a Grade 3 female assistant who is the infant mistress, or to a Grade 2 female assistant who as infant mistress is receiving an addition of £30 per annum to the salary prescribed in Schedule IV of the regulations for staffs and salaries in public schools, such assistant shall be retained in substitution for one of the Grade 2 female assistants to whom the school would otherwise be entitled in accordance with the provisions of this clause.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 15th day of December, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Education Act, 1914, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations amending the regulations at present in force relating to training colleges and manual and technical instruction; and with the like advice and consent doth prescribe that this order shall come into force on the first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-three.
AMENDED REGULATIONS.
TRAINING COLLEGES.
I. THE regulations relating to training colleges made by Orders in Council, as shown in the Schedule hereunder, are hereby amended as follows:—

By deleting clause 1.

By deleting in subclause (1) of clause 3 all the words after the words “University college,” and substituting the words “within that district, and a representative chosen in such manner as the Minister may from time to time determine by the Boards of such other education districts as he shall select.”

(1) By deleting in subclause (1) of clause 4 the words “one normal school and one associated normal school, both of which shall be regarded as practising schools and may be so designated. Every such practising school shall include,” and substituting the words “a normal school, the staff of which shall demonstrate and give practice in such methods of teaching and school organization as the Director may approve. The normal school shall include—”
(2) By deleting in paragraph (a) of subclause (1) of clause 4 the words “Classes from P to S 6,” and substituting the words “such classes as the Minister may determine.”

By deleting in subclause (1) of clause 5 the words “and of the practising schools,” and by deleting the whole of subclause (2) of clause 5.

(1) By deleting in subclause (2) of clause 6 the words “each practising school,” and substituting the words “a normal school.”
