AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Ponsonby Park Redemption Loan, 1932, £18,550.
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of eighteen thousand five hundred and fifty pounds (£18,550) authorized to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of a loan of twenty-two thousand pounds (£22,000) maturing on the 1st day of November, 1932, the said Auckland City Council doth hereby make and levy a special rate of one-eighth of one penny (¼d.) in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property comprising the whole of the City of Auckland, and that such special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that THOMAS BALLINGALL, Public Accountant, of Wanganui, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of the winding-up.”
Those having claims against the company are requested to forward same to me at the address given below on or before the 19th day of December, 1932, otherwise they may be excluded from participation in any distribution.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, 60-63 Yorkshire House, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 2nd December, 1932, the following resolution was unanimously carried:—
“That the Golden River Mining Co., Ltd., be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and of the Kawarau Gold-mining Amalgamation Act, 1930, and that RAYMOND STANLEY HOLM BISS, Public Accountant, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for such purpose with power to distribute among the members of the company, according to their holding, the shares (other than fractions thereof) which the company will receive in the Amalgamated Kawarau Gold-mining Co., Ltd.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Otago and Southland District, dated the 2nd day of December, 1932, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £30,000 to £18,422, together with the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above statute, was registered by the Assistant Registrar of Companies at Dunedin on the 3rd day of December, 1932.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the partnership heretofore subsisting between LEWIS SHORTUS, THOMAS ROSE, LEONARD B. HART, and HERBERT W. HALL, carrying on business as Manufacturing Confectioners at Timaru, under the style or firm name of the “Gold Band Chocolate Company,” has been dissolved as from the 1st day of December, 1932, so far as concerns the said Herbert W. Hall, who retires from the said firm.
