by Small Grazing-run 125, Section 8, Block XVIII, Pine

more or less, being formerly part of Provisional State Forest
No. 35 (Gazette 1920, page 934), situated in Blocks I and III,
Heringa Survey District, and bounded generally as follows:
Towards the north-east by Section 1, Block I, aforesaid;
towards the south-east by Section 9, Block IV, Heringa
Survey District (Provisional State Forest, Gazette 1920, page
934), Section 6, Block IV, aforesaid, Sections 1 and 2, Block
III, aforesaid, and Section 3, Block VI, Heringa Survey
District; and towards the north-west by State Forest (Gazette
1881, page 959).

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 8,500 acres,
more or less, being formerly Provisional State Forest No. 30
(ordinary Provisional State Forest: Gazette 1919, page 1290,
3,450 acres), and part of Provisional State Forest No. 125
(national-endowment Provisional State Forest Gazette 1922,
page 945, 5,050 acres), situated in Block XI, Ileringa,
Blocks IV and VIII, Pine Valley, and Blocks I and V, Onama-
lutu Survey Districts, and bounded generally as follows:
Towards the east by State Forest (Gazette 1881, page 959),
Section 3, Block XIII, Wakamarina Survey District, and
Sections 15 and 14, Block I, Onamaluto Survey District (the
aforesaid three sections being Provisional State Forest—
Gazette 1922, page 945); towards the north by Section 14,
aforesaid; again towards the east by the Wakamarina River
and the Devil's Stream, and towards the south-west and
north-west by State Forest (Gazette 1881, page 959).

Also all that area containing by admeasurement 540 acres,
more or less, being formerly Provisional State Forest No. 153
(Gazette 1924, page 114) situated in Block III, Tomynson
Survey District, and bounded generally as follows: Towards
the north, east, and south by State Forests (Gazettes 1881,
page 959, and 1886, page 1092), and towards the west by
Sections 2 and 7, Block III, aforesaid.

As the same are more particularly delineated on plans
Nos. 104/10 and 109/1, deposited in the Head Office of the
State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, this 6th day of
December, 1932.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests
Act, 1921-22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the
provisional State forests described in the Schedule hereto as
a permanent State forest.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT. — ROTORUA CONSERVATION
REGION.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District containing by
admeasurement 121,594 acres, more or less, being formerly
Provisional State Forests Nos. 58, 59, and 80 (Gazette 1920, page
2119, Gazette 1920, page 2119, and Gazette 1927, page 2519),
respectively—ordinary Provisional State Forest, 4,910 acres),
and Nos. 61 and 62, (Gazette 1929, page 1861, and Gazette
1920, page 2108—national-endowment Provisional State
Forest, 116,684 acres), situated in Blocks IV, VIII, XI, XII,
XV, and XVI, Waco Survey District, Blocks V and IX,
Ahikereru Survey District, Blocks II, III, IV, VI, VII, VIII,
XI, XII, XIV, XV, and XVI, Hemiwi Survey District,
Blocks I, V, IX, X, XIII, and XIV, Tuatawhata Survey
District, Blocks II, III, IV, VI, and XI, Runanga Survey District,
and Blocks I, II, V, and VI, Mangahopai West Survey District,
and bounded generally as follows: By a line commencing at the
north-western corner of Section 1, Block V, Ahikereru
Survey District; thence in a southerly direction along the
western boundaries of Section 1, Block V, Ahikereru Survey
District and Crown land, the Okahu Stream, the north-western
and south-western boundaries of Crown Land (passing through
the Te Pokaoka and Oruahurangi Trigs.) to the Waiaitu
Stream; thence along the Waiaitu Stream, the south-western
and south-eastern boundaries of Heruwi No. 4a No. 2 Block,
the north-western boundary of Crown land (passing through
the Moerangi Trig.) to the Maungatauwha Trig.; thence along
the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Heruwi No. 4b

District; thence in a northerly direction along the eastern
and northern boundaries of Pohokura No. 7a Block, the
eastern and northern boundaries of Pohokura No. 3 and
Runanga No. 1a Blocks to a public road; thence along a
public road, the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of
Pukahuni No. 2 Block, and the eastern boundary of Ran
95 (State forest, Gazette 1928, page 2120) to the southernmost
corner of Heruwi No. 4a No. 2 Block; thence along the
south-eastern boundary of Heruwi No. 4a No. 2 Block and
its production to the bush edge; thence along the bush edge
to the Maungangi Stream; thence along the south-western
and north-eastern boundaries of Whirinaki No. 1 Section 4a
No. 1b Block to the bush edge; thence along the bush edge,
the north-eastern, south-eastern, and again north-eastern
boundaries of Whirinaki No. 1 Section 4 to the bush edge in
Block VIII, Waco Survey District; thence along the bush
edge and the Rotorua-Te Whaiti Road to the point of
commencement; save and excluding Pohokura No. 13 Block
(Crown land, Gazette 1919, page 3749), and all intersecting public
roads. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan
No. 55/1 deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest
Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Road traversing Native Land proclaimed as a Public Road in
Blocks XV and XVI, Whangape Survey District, North
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the road described in the Schedule hereto
traverses Native land, and has been used by the
public as if it were a public road, and has been formed
and improved out of public funds:

And whereas the Native Land Court, by an order made on
the sixteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-one, and issued pursuant to section thirteen of the
Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment
Act, 1928, ordered and declared the said road to be a
public road:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in
the public interest that the said road should be proclaimed as
a public road, and a notification to that effect has been for-
warded to the Minister of Lands in terms of section four
hundred and eighty-six of the Native Land Act, 1931:
