Notice respecting Proposed Alterations of Boundaries, Thames Valley Drainage District, County of Hauraki Plains.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 17th November, 1932.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and amendments, praying that the areas described in the Schedule hereto may be included in the Thames Valley Drainage District.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alterations of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREAS PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE DISTRICT, COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS.

ALL that area of land bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the road forming the south-western boundary of Awaiiti No. 2 C Block with the right bank of the Awaiiti Canal; thence by the north-eastern side of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 36, Block XI, Waihou Survey District; thence across the road and by the south-eastern boundary of Section 36 aforesaid to the right bank of the Awaiiti Canal; thence by the right bank of that canal to the point of commencement.

Also all that area of land bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the Netherton Drainage District at the north-western corner of Section 3, Block XV, Waihou Survey District, and following the boundary of the aforesaid district generally in a northerly direction to a point on the southern boundary of Section 33, Block XI, Waihou Survey District, distant 1350 links from the easternmost corner of that section; thence in a north-westerly direction 2150 links by a line parallel to the south-western boundary of Section 33 aforesaid; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 33 aforesaid; thence by the north-eastern boundary of Section 31, Block XI, Waihou Survey District and the Netherton Drainage District boundary to the most northerly corner of Section 26, Block XI, aforesaid; thence by the boundary of the Thames Valley Drainage District in a south-westerly and then south-easterly direction to the point of commencement.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence in New Zealand for E. G. Grant, Parnell, Auckland.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name) or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence for Philip Henry Reynolds, Haarlem, Holland.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in receiving money under pretence of foretelling future events, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name) or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the organization and person whose names and addresses are shown in the Schedule hereunder are engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said organization or person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said organization or person (either by their own or any fictitious or assumed names) or addressed to any of the addresses in the Schedule hereunder without a name shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
