Plant declared to be a Noxious Weed in the Patea County.—Notice No. Ag. 3081.

THE following special order made by the Patea County Council on the 11th day of October, 1932, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928.

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Noxious Weeds Act, 1928, the Patea County Council hereby resolves and declares by way of special order that the plant mentioned in the Schedule hereto (being a plant mentioned in the Second Schedule to the said Act, as extended from time to time by the Governor-General in Council), is a noxious weed within the County of Patea.
SCHEDULE.
Tauhinu or New Zealand Cotton-wood (Cassinia leptophylla).
Time and Place of the First Meeting of the Firelight Committee of the Te Kauwhata Commercial Fruitgrowing District appointed.—Notice No. Ag. 3084.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Firelight Committee Regulations, 1928, under the Orchard-tax Act, 1927, I, Charles Edward de la Barca Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, hereby appoint 7.30 o’clock p.m., on Monday, the 5th day of December, 1932, as the time, and the Town Hall, Te Kauwhata, as the place, for holding the first meeting of the Firelight Committee of the Te Kauwhata Commercial Fruitgrowing District established pursuant to the said regulations.

Revoking the Notice Prescribing the Amount of Special Orchard-tax payable in the Rangiora Commercial Fruitgrowing District.—Notice No. Ag. 3083.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by subsection (3) of section 4 of the Orchard-tax Act, 1927, I, Charles Edward de la Barca Macmillan, Minister of Agriculture, do hereby revoke the notice prescribing the amount of special orchard-tax payable by the occupier of every orchard within the Rangiora Commercial Fruitgrowing District, given under the hand of the Minister of Agriculture on the 8th day of December, 1931, and published in the Gazette on the 17th day of the same month at page 3508; and do hereby declare that such revocation shall take effect on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette.

Removal of Name from Commission of the Peace.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased in terms of section 8 of the Justices of the Peace Act 1927, to direct the removal of the name of
Jabez William Mace Luxford, of Wanganni,
from the Commission of the Peace, and it is hereby notified that such name has been removed accordingly, and that such removal will take effect on and from this 23rd day of November, 1932.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Netherton Drainage District, County of Hauraki Plains.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and amendments, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be included in the Netherton Drainage District.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREA PROPOSED TO BE INCLUDED IN THE NETHERTON DRAINAGE DISTRICT, COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS.
ALL that land bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the Netherton Drainage District boundary with the boundary between Section 24 and 31, Block XI, Waihou Survey District; thence in a generally south-easterly direction by the aforesaid drainage district boundary to a point on the southern boundary of Section 33, Block XI, Waihou Survey District, distant 1350 links from the easternmost corner of that section; thence in a north-westerly direction 2150 links by a line parallel to the south-western boundary of Section 33 aforesaid; thence by a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 31 aforesaid and by the north-eastern boundary of that section to the point of commencement.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and amendments, praying that the areas described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Thames Valley Drainage District.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alterations of boundaries which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
SCHEDULE.
AREAS PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE DISTRICT, COUNTY OF HAURAKI PLAINS.
ALL that area of land being all those portions of the Thames Valley Drainage District lying on the south-western side of the Awati Canal and bounded by the right bank of the said canal and the old Awati Stream.
Also all that area of land bounded by a line commencing at the right bank of the Awati Canal in line with the north-western boundary of Awati 1D No. 2 Block; thence by the right bank of the Awati Canal to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Awati 1J 2s 3 Section 1 Block; thence across the canal and by the north-western boundary of Awati 1J 2s 3 Section 1 Block to the most westerly corner of that block; thence by a right line to its most southerly corner of Awati 1D No. 2 Block and by its south-western and north-western boundaries to and across the Awati Canal to the point of commencement.
