AKITIO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE, AKAROA ROAD METALLING LOAN, 1932.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, the Akitio County Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £150 authorized to be raised by the Akitio County Council under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, for the purpose of metalling for the first time a distance of approximately three miles of the Akaroa Road in the County of Akitio, the said Akitio County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and thirty-one five-hundredths (131/500d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value), of all the rateable property in the Akaroa Road Special-rating Area comprising all those properties within the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at. the northernmost point of Section 39, Block IX, Mount Cerberus Survey District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 39, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D. in a generally south-easterly direction to a point on the Akaroa Road opposite the westernmost point of Section 10, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the said road along the north-western boundary of the said Section 10, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 10, and Section 14, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D., to a point on the north-western boundary of Section 11, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the said boundary of the said section to the Beehive Trig.; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 11, and Section 27, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 27, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. on the north-western boundary of Section 16, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the said boundary of the said Section 16, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to its northernmost point; thence in a south-easterly direction along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 16, and Sections 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, and 6, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 6, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 6, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the northern corner of Section 29A, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 29A, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to its easternmost point; thence along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 29A, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the south-eastern corner of Section 22, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence along the southern boundary of the said Section 22, and Sections 23, 25A, and 25, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the Pukemako Trig.; thence in a north-easterly direction along the western boundary of the said Section 25, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the south-eastern corner of Section 26, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence in a north-westerly direction along the boundaries of the said Section 26, Block X, and Sections 13 and 12, Block X, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence in a north-easterly direction along the boundary of the said Section 12, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the southernmost corner of Section 39, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D.; thence in a north-westerly and then north-easterly direction along the boundary of the said Section 39, Block IX, Mount Cerberus S.D. to the point of commencement and containing all the land within the said delineation; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 14th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIROA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
Extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Wairoa Borough Council at a meeting of such Council held on the 19th day of September, 1932.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Hawke's Bay Earthquake Act, 1931, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, and of all other
powers it enabling, the Wairoa Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :—
That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Wairoa Borough Council under the above-mentioned Acts for repairing damage caused by the earthquake of February, 1931, the said Wairoa Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one hundred and thirty-two thousandths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value), within the Borough of Wairoa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, calculated from the date on which such interest first commences to accrue for any portion of the loan-moneys, and shall be payable on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, calculated from the date aforesaid, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Wairoa was hereunto affixed pursuant to a resolution in that behalf in the presence of—
