IT was resolved, per extraordinary resolution dated 28th July, 1932: “That the Power Farming Publishing Company, Limited, be wound up voluntarily, as it has proved to its satisfaction that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business; and that H. BOROUGH OF ST. KILDA.

COPY OF RESOLUTION PASSED AT AN ORDINARY MEETING OF THE ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL, HELD ON MONDAY, 25TH JULY, 1932, AT 8 P.M.

THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, the St. Kilda Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—

That for the purpose of providing the interest and sinking fund on a loan of one thousand pounds (£1,000) authorized to be raised by the St. Kilda Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of paying off a Hall Loan of one thousand five hundred pounds (£1,500) maturing on the first day of August, 1932, the balance of that loan—namely, five hundred pounds (£500)—having been otherwise provided, the said St. Kilda Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-thirty-fifths (2/35ths) of one penny (1d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of St. Kilda, comprising the whole of the said borough, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the resolution of the St. Kilda Borough Council passed at an ordinary meeting held on Monday, 25th July, 1932.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and W. J. MANN AND COMPANY, LIMITED, a private company carrying on business in Auckland.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, Swanson Street, Auckland, on the 14th July, 1932, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—

“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that NELSON SPEARY, of Auckland, Company Secretary, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of winding up.”
