NOTICE is hereby given that the final meeting of the company, pursuant to section 130 of the Companies Act, 1908, is convened to be held at 205 British Chambers, High Street, Auckland, on Tuesday, 9th August, 1932, at 10 a.m. for the purpose of receiving the report and accounts of the Liquidator.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

Special Resolution.

THE following resolution was passed at a meeting of shareholders of the above company held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 29th June, 1932, and was confirmed as a special resolution at a second meeting of shareholders held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, 20th July, 1932, both meetings having been held at the office of the company, 126 Queen Street, Hastings :—

“ That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that WILLIAM BARTON HOBBS, of Hastings, Public Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and in the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Franklin County Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a road in part of Allotment 127 of the Parish of Opaheke—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken : And notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk to the said Council, situate at Roulston Street, Pukekohe, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work, or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the 27th day of July, 1932, being the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the county office, Roulston Street, Pukekohe.

THE SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken :
1 rood 10 perches.
From portion of Allotment 127 of the Parish of Opaheke, in Block II, of the Opaheke Survey District, in the County of Franklin, North Auckland Land District.
