WELLINGTON CITY CORPORATION.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Wellington City Empowering and Amendment Act, 1924, and their Amendments, and the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, for street purposes at Laura Avenue, in the City of Wellington—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Town Hall, Cuba Street, in the said City, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council, addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land situate in the City of Wellington, containing seventy-eight hundredths of a perch (0·78 p.), being portion of Lot 1 on Deposited Plan Number 4791, part Section 11, Ohlro District; coloured red on the plan above mentioned.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an extraordinary resolution of the above-named company dated July 8th, 1932, it was resolved that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, carry on its business, and that the same should be wound up; and that RAYMOND DOUGLAS JAMIESON, of Ranfurly, Solicitor, should be appointed Liquidator for that purpose.
All persons or firms having accounts against the said company are required to render particulars of the same to the Liquidator, care of Duncan & Jamieson, Solicitors, Ranfurly, on or before July 31st, 1932.

DOMINION CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LIMITED.

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the DOMINION CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, LIMITED, a private company carrying on business at Auckland.

NOTICE is hereby given of the passing of the under-mentioned resolutions by the above company :—
(a) On the 7th June, 1932—
“ That owing to the company being unable to carry on business, by reason of its liabilities, it is hereby resolved to go into voluntary liquidation, and that Mr. CHARLES PRATT, Trade Assignee, of 18 Union Buildings, Custom Street, Auckland, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator.”
(b) On the 29th June, 1932—
“ That Mr. NORMAN POWLEY CARLESS, of Auckland, Public Accountant, be appointed Liquidator of the Company, vice Mr. Pratt, who has resigned.”
