Classification of Roads in Wairarapa South County.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Wairarapa South County, shall belong to the respective classes of roads shown in the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
WAIRARAPA SOUTH COUNTY.
ROADS classified in Class Three: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 10 tons.
Main Highways.
No. 69, Carterton–Longbush (all that portion within Wairarapa South County).
No. 68, Carterton–Longbush Junction to Gladstone (all that portion within Wairarapa South County).
No. 66, Masterton–Martinborough, via Gladstone (all that portion within Wairarapa South County).
No. 381, Ponotahi (all that portion within Wairarapa South County).
No. 67, Tupurupuru – Te Wharau (all that portion within Wairarapa South County).
No. 15, Wellington–Napier, via Wairarapa (all that portion within Wairarapa South County).

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the streets described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Richmond Borough, shall belong to the respective classes of streets shown in the said Schedule.

STREETS classified in Class Two: Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 8 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 12 tons.

New Zealand Inscribed Stock Act, 1917.—Closing of Registers.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registers of New Zealand 5¼, 5½, and 5¾ per cent. Inscribed Stock, maturing 15th August, 1933, and 15th February, 1937, will be closed from the 25th July to the 15th August, 1932 (inclusive), for the purpose of the issue of half-yearly interest.

Eltham Borough Council.
CANCELLATION OF UNEXERCISED LOAN AUTHORITY.
In the matter of section 118 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926.
WHEREAS the Eltham Borough Council has been duly authorized to borrow by way of special loan the sum of ten thousand pounds for sewerage works, and the consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the said loan was given by Order in Council made on the 17th day of December, 1918, and published in the Gazette on the 19th day of the same month, at page 4022:
And whereas in respect of the said sum of ten thousand pounds there has been raised and borrowed for the purposes aforesaid the sum of eight thousand pounds, and it has not been found necessary to borrow the whole of the amount so authorized:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has duly notified the Eltham Borough Council in writing of his intention to cancel the loan authority in so far as it has not been exercised:
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers in that behalf conferred upon me by section 118 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, as amended by section 46 of the Finance Act, 1931 (No. 4), and of all other powers me in this behalf enabling, I, George William Forbes, Acting Minister of Finance, do hereby cancel the authority of the Eltham Borough Council to borrow, under the loan authority hereinbefore referred to, the sum of two thousand pounds, being the amount in respect of which the said loan authority has not been exercised: Provided always that this cancellation is without prejudice to the validity in all respects of the loan of eight thousand pounds already borrowed pursuant to the said loan authority.
