Lieutenant C. A. Noble, from the Hauraki Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 23rd June, 1927, and is posted to the 1st Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st July, 1932.

Lieutenant N. Dickson, from the Wellington Regiment, to be Lieutenant, with seniority from 18th December, 1930, and is posted to the Regimental Supernumerary List. Dated 28th June, 1932.
Fred Cook to be 2nd Lieutenant (on probation), and is posted to the 2nd Cadet Battalion. Dated 1st June, 1932.

THE CANTERBURY REGIMENT.
2nd Lieutenant R. H. Hobbs, 4th Cadet Battalion, resigns his commission on appointment to the Royal Air Force. Dated 10th April, 1931.

Classification of Road in Tahunanui Town Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Tahunanui Town Board’s proposed classification of that portion of No. 102 Nelson-Inangahua Junction Main Highway within Tahunanui Town Board District in Class Two : Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 8 tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 12 tons.

Classification of Portion of No. 1 Main Highway, Wellington-Auckland.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby approve of the Main Highway Board’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto and situated in the Makara and Hutt Counties.

SCHEDULE.
MAKARA AND HUTT COUNTIES.
Roads classified in Class Three : Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 10 tons :—

Wellington-Auckland, via Taranaki, Main Highway.
All that portion of the main highway situate in the Makara and Hutt Counties, commencing at its junction with the Porirua – Titahi Bay Highway in Porirua Township, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction via Paremata and Pahautanui, and terminating at the north-eastern corner of Section 20, Block VI, Paekakariki Survey District.

Also all that portion of the main highway situate in the Hutt County, commencing at a point opposite the southern boundary of the Paekakariki Railway-station on the western boundary of Section 47, Block III, Paekakariki Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a northerly direction via Paraparamu, and terminating at the northern boundary of the Hutt County at the Waikanae River Bridge.

Classification of Roads in Waimate West County.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Transport Department Act, 1929, and the Heavy Motor-vehicle Regulations, 1932, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Acting Minister of Transport, do hereby declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto, and situated in the Waimate West County, shall belong to the respective class of roads shown in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
WAIMATE WEST COUNTY.
Roads classified in Class Three : Available for the use thereon of any heavy motor-vehicle (other than a multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle) which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 6½ tons, or any multi-axled heavy motor-vehicle which with the load it is carrying weighs not more than 10 tons.

Dingle, Glenn, Inaha, Kearin, Kokeri, Lower Auroa, Main South, Manaia, Mangawhero, Normanby (between Manaia and Inaha Roads), Oeo, Omuturangi, Palmer, Rama, Rowan, Skeet, Sutherland, Taikatu, Upper Auroa, Winks.
