Amending Area of Native Land proclaimed to have become Crown
Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Proclamations dated the thirty-first day
of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty,
and the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty-one, the blocks of Native land called
Wharepuhunga No. 17A and Wharepuhunga No. 17B, respect-
ively, were proclaimed to have become Crown land :

And whereas an error has been made in the areas of the
blocks comprised in such Proclamations, and it is now desirable
that the said Proclamations should be amended :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority conferred upon me by section 454 of the Native Land
Act, 1931, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the said
Proclamations dated the thirty-first day of August, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty, and the twenty-sixth
day of November, one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one,
by substituting for the areas of the said land in the said
Proclamations the areas set out in the Schedule hereto,
and do hereby proclaim the areas so set out to be Crown land.

Amending Regulations for Trout-fishing in the Ashburton
Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day
of June, 1932.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Orders in Council dated the fourteenth
day of April, one thousand nine hundred and thirty,
the twenty-ninth day of September, one thousand nine
hundred and thirty, and the twenty-fifth day of September,
one thousand nine hundred and thirty-one, and published in
the Gazette of the seventeenth day of April, one thousand
nine hundred and thirty, at page 1435, the second day of
October, one thousand nine hundred and thirty, at page 2872,
and the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and
thirty-one, at page 2879, respectively, regulations were made
for trout-fishing in the Ashburton Acclimatization District
and the waters thereof :

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations
by making an additional regulation :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Fisheries
Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him
in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
make the following additional regulation.

REGULATION.

  1. (a) No person shall take, attempt to take, or kill any
    trout, tench, perch, or other acclimatized fish in the Hinds
    River by any means other than artificial fly :

(b) No person shall use in the said district for silvery,
bully, or other methods of bait-fishing any hook the size of
which exceeds, in the case of treble hooks, English size No. 3,
and in the case of single hooks, the size known as English
old No. size 3.

Authorizing the Laying-off of a Street in the City of Palmerston
North of a Width of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft.,
subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day
of June, 1932.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works
Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in
this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby authorize the Palmerston North City Council to
permit the laying-off of the proposed street described in the
Schedule hereto of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not
less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building
or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the
land edged purple on the plan referred to in the Schedule
hereto within a distance of forty feet from the centre-line of
the said street.

SCHEDULE.

THAT proposed street in the Wellington Land District, City of
Palmerston North, being an extension of Dahlia Street, and
containing by admeasurement 3 roods 3 perches, more or less,
being part Sections 874, 876, 878, 880, and 882, Town of
Palmerston North. As the same is more particularly de-
lineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 84114, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

Cancelling the Reservation over Reserves in Block VI, Kaiteriteri
Survey District, Nelson Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 17th day
of June, 1932.

Present :

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation as reserves for public
utility over the land described in the Schedule hereto ;
and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in
the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the
Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION K, Block VI, Kaiteriteri Survey District, being part
of Fisherman’s Island : Area, 34 perches, more or less.

Also Section I, Block VI, Kaiteriteri Survey District, being
part of Adele Island : area, 1 rood 8 perches, more or less.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
53677A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
