Revoking the Setting-apart of Lands for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamations made on the thirtieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively, and published in the Gazette of the fifth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and the sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, respectively, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as they relate to the lands in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE. WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT. (a) SECTION 72, Block V, Mangaone Survey District (Hardie Settlement): Area, 102 acres 3 roods 35 perches. (b) Section 1s, Soland Settlement, formerly known as Section 195, Block II, Wairoa Survey District, and part Section 348, Ototuku Block: Area, 75 acres 2 roods. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of May, 1932. E. A. RANSOM, Minister of Lands. A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE. AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—HAPUAHOHE SURVEY DISTRICT. SECTION 14, Block VIII : Area, 24 acres 0 roods 23 perches. Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 26th day of May, 1932. E. A. RANSOM, Minister of Lands. Altering Districts under the Maori Councils Act, 1900. [L.s.] BLEDISLOE, Governor-General. A PROCLAMATION. WHEREAS by section three of the Maori Councils Act, 1900, it is provided that the Governor may proclaim any District a Maori District for the purpose of the said Act, and may at any time alter or revoke such proclamation: And whereas by proclamation made under his hand on the twenty-sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred, the Governor did proclaim certain districts including, inter alia, the Mangonui District and the Hokianga District to be Maori Districts for the purpose of the said Act: And whereas it is desirable to alter the boundaries between the Mangonui and Hokianga Maori Districts: Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the hereinbefore-recited section of the Maori Councils Act, 1900, and every other power thereunto me enabling, do hereby revoke the said proclamation of the twenty-sixth day of December, one thousand nine hundred, in so far as it affects the Mangonui and Hokianga Maori Districts; and in lieu thereof I hereby proclaim the districts the names and boundaries whereof are set out in the Schedule hereto to be Maori Districts for the purpose of the Maori Councils Act, 1900. SCHEDULE. MANGONUI DISTRICT. BOUNDED towards the north-east generally by the ocean from North Cape to the mouth of Wairakau River, Pekapeka Bay, Whangaroa Harbour; thence towards the south-east generally by that river, Sections Nos. 18 and 17, Block VI, Whangaroa Survey District, and the northern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section produced to the north-eastern corner of Mangataraire Block; thence by the eastern and southern boundary-lines of that block and the southern and western boundary-lines of Section No. 10, Block XI, Mangonui Survey District, to the north-western corner of that section; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 4, Block VII, Mangonui Survey District; thence by the southern boundary-line of that section to Stony or Patupukapuka Stream; thence by the said Stony Stream, the eastern and south-eastern boundary-lines of Allotment No. 103, Totara Parish, and generally by the north-western and south-western boundaries of Kohumaru Parish to the Wainui Stream; thence by the middle of the said Wainui Stream to a point where the southern boundary-line produced of Section No. 37, Block VII, Maungataniwha Survey District, will meet the centre of the stream ; thence by the aforesaid southern boundary-line produced and by the southern boundary-line of the said Section No. 37, Block VII, Maungataniwha Survey District, and generally by the southern boundary-lines of Maungataniwha East and Maungataniwha Parishes to a point on the boundary of the latter parish nearest to Trig. Station Raetea No. 43 ; thence by a right line to that Trig. Station ; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of Section No. 1, Block X, Whangape Survey District, where the Awaroa River intersects the road; thence by the southern bank of the said Awaroa River to the Whangape Harbour, and by that harbour; and towards the south-west and north generally by the ocean to the place of commencement: including the adjacent islands.
HOKIANGA DISTRICT. Bounded towards the north-west generally by the Mangonui District from the Whangape Harbour to the north-east corner of Allotment 42, Maungataniwha East Parish; thence along the Wainui Stream to the intersection of the south-west boundary of Otangaroa No. Ic 2 Block; thence towards the north-east and east generally by the north-eastern boundary of Pupuke Parish and the south-eastern boundary of Matawherohia Parish to the north-eastern corner of Allotment 29, Matawherohia Parish, thence by the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block X, Kaeo Survey District, by the northern and north-eastern boundaries of State Forest Reserve, as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1906, page 1428, to a point where the north-western boundary produced of Section 1, Block XV, Kaeo Survey District, will intersect, thence by a right line to the northern corner of the said Section 1, Block XV, Kaeo Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Section 1, Block XV, Kaeo Survey District, to the intersection of the Waipapa River, and by a line along the middle of that river to a point where the western boundary-line produced of Section 1, Block XIV, Kaeo Survey District, will meet the centre of the said river; thence by a right line to and along the western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 1, Block XIV, Kaeo Survey District, by the western boundaries of Sections 2,
