Proclaiming Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section four hundred and fifty-four of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, or that the freehold of any land has become vested in the Crown under any Part of that Act, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :
And whereas the land set out in the Schedule hereto has become vested in the Crown under Part VII of the said Act :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by the said section four hundred and fifty-four, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
ALL the several parcels of land, containing together 2,892 acres 3 roods 31 perches, more or less, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Taramarama Survey District, comprising Tutaekuri
A Block, and being all the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 84, folio 192, of the Gisborne Land Registration District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of May, 1932.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of May, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES, PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Public Works Act, 1928, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the One Tree Hill Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed street, described in the Schedule hereto, of a width of less than sixty-six feet but not less than fifty feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the southern side of the said street within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street.
SCHEDULE.
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of One Tree Hill, to be known as Warborough Avenue, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 10-96 perches, more or less, being part Allotments 16 and 26 of Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83498, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Amending Regulations under the Sale of Food and Drugs Act, 1908.—

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of May, 1932.

THE RIGHT HON. G. W. FORBES PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Sale of Foods and Drugs Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby mend the regulations made under the said Act on the twenty-third day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and gazetted on the twenty-sixth day of the same month (hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”) as follows :—
- Regulation 10 of the principal regulations, relating to preservatives, is hereby amended by deleting subclause (4) thereof, and substituting therefor the following :—
“ (4) Wherever by these regulations the addition of salicylic acid to food as a preservative is permitted, a quantity of sodium benzoate may be used in lieu thereof equal to four times the quantity of salicylic acid so permitted.”
