Regulation 11 of the principal regulations, relating to flavourings and colourings, is hereby amended as follows :—
(a) By inserting after the words “sausage-skins” the words “smoked fish”; and
(b) By deleting the words “or fruit jelly crystals.” -
Regulation 13 of the principal regulations, relating to metals unavoidably present in foods, is hereby amended by adding to the list therein contained the following :—

Regulation 14 of the principal regulations, relating to exemptions from labelling provisions, is hereby amended by inserting, between the word “hereunder” and the word “shall,” the words “provided the food is of the nature, quality, origin, or brand demanded by the purchaser”.

Regulation 28 of the principal regulations, relating to flour, bread, and meals, is hereby amended by adding thereto the following subclause :—
“BLANCMANGE POWDER.
“(18) (a) Blancmange powder shall be a powder prepared from wholesome starch with or without harmless flavouring and/or colouring.
“Labelling.
“(b) Expressions or devices which indicate or suggest the presence of fruit or fruit juices shall not appear on any statement or label attached to any package containing blancmange powder.”
- Regulation 32 of the principal regulations, relating to baking-powder, as amended by Order in Council gazetted 26th June, 1930, is hereby further amended by adding to sub-clause (2) thereof the following :—
“Provided that the proportion of cream-of-tartar as written on any label under the foregoing provisions may contain not more than ten parts per centum of tartaric acid without declaration.”

Regulation 38 is hereby amended by revoking subclause (7) thereof relating to cool-store eggs.

Regulation 42 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by deleting from subclause (2) thereof, relating to cream, the words “forty parts,” and substituting therefor the words “thirty-five parts.”

Regulation 46 of the principal regulations, relating to butter, is hereby amended by adding thereto the following :—
“MILLED BUTTER.
“(7) Milled butter is butter made in two or more private or farm dairies, and mixed, worked, or packed together, or formed into pats or prints for sale or shipment.
“Labelling.
“(8) Milled butter shall not be sold save with a statement or label attached on which shall be clearly written or printed, on a white ground in red capital letters of a size not less than one-quarter of an inch in height, the words ‘milled butter.’”
- Regulation 51 of the principal regulations is hereby amended by deleting from subclause (4) thereof, relating to iodized salt, the words “one part,” and substituting therefor the words “not less than one part nor more than two parts.”
