Land set apart as Provisional State Forest declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of Provisional State Forest No. 21 set apart by Proclamation dated the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-four, and gazetted on the sixth day of that month, is required for settlement purposes; and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Southland Land District, containing by admeasurement 633 acres 0 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Sections 51 and 52, and Tramway Reserve, Block VI, Otara Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-west generally by Petersen Road; towards the north-east generally by Section 49, Block VI, Otara Survey District, and the Tokanui–Haldane Road; towards the east by Section 39, Block VI, Otara Survey District; and towards the south by Sections 7 and 8, Block VII, Otara Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/2674A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of May, 1932.

Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Marlborough Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.—LINKWATER SURVEY DISTRICT.

Lot 1 of Section 5, Block XIII}
Lot 1 of Section 6, Block XIII 1,744 acres.
Lot 1 of Section 6, Block XIV }

Lands reserved under the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Scenery Preservation Board, constituted pursuant to the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), has recommended that the lands described in the Schedule hereto should be permanently reserved for scenic purposes, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation:

Now, therefore, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be scenic reserves under the said Act, and subject to the provisions thereof.

SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SECTION 20, Block XIV, Kawhia North Survey District: Area, 13 acres 2 roods 31 perches, more or less. (L. and S. 4/646.)

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.

Section 4, Block VI, Kaiteriteri Survey District: Area, 200 acres, more or less. (L. and S. 4/647.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of May, 1932.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 40 acres, more or less, being parts of Sections 6 and 7, Block XVI, Manganui Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 6, Block XVI, Manganui Survey District, from its intersection with the left bank of the Mangaeteroa Stream to its intersection with the right bank of the Makotuku Stream, a distance of 1175·24 links; towards the south by the right bank of the Makotuku Stream
