Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XI, Rotoiti Survey District, for the Purposes of a Quarry.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of a quarry. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Rotoiti, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Roads of less Width than 66 ft.

Department of Lands and Survey,
Wellington, 3rd May, 1932.

WHEREAS, in the opinion of the Minister of Lands, it is inexpedient, by reason of the fact that the land shown upon the plans of Town of Panmure Extensions Nos. 41 and 61, affecting part Section 1, Panmure Small Farms, in Block II, Otahuhu Survey District, is intended to be used wholly for residential purposes, that Vavau Avenue shown therein should be of the width of 66 ft.

Now, therefore, I, Ethelbert Alfred Ransom, Minister of Lands, do hereby, in pursuance of the power conferred upon me by section 17, subsection (1), of the Land Act, 1924, and of every other power me thereunto enabling, authorize the laying-off of Vavau Avenue of a width of not less than 50 ft.: Provided always that it shall not be lawful for any person to erect or cause to be erected any building at a less distance than 33 ft. from the middle of such road.

Given under my hand this 30th day of April, 1932.
