THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Including Additional Land in the Mahoenui Development Scheme.

WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of the 17th April, 1930, of the Native Minister’s intention to apply the provisions of subsection 3 of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Mahoenui A 2b 1 and other blocks, and known as the Mahoenui Development Scheme :

Now, therefore, I, the said Native Minister, do decide to apply the provisions of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, to the additional land mentioned in the Schedule hereto as a part of such scheme, and hereby give notice of my intention accordingly.

No owner, except with the consent of the Native Minister, is entitled to exercise any right of ownership in connection with the land affected so as to interfere with or obstruct the carrying-out of the development scheme.

WHEREAS notice was published in the Gazette of 17th April, 1930, that the Native Minister had decided to apply the provisions of subsection (3) of section 23 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1929, to Ruatoki No. 1 and other blocks of Native land, or land owned by Natives in the Waiariki Native Land Court District : And whereas the Native Minister has now decided that the block mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to the provisions of subsection (3) of section 522 of the Native Land Act, 1931, it is hereby notified that such land is excluded from the said Ruatoki Development Scheme accordingly.

Prohibition of Issue of Money-orders and Transmission of Postal Correspondence for La Roche Supplies, Sydney.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, having reasonable ground* for supposing that the organization whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in an obscene or immoral business, it is hereby ordered, under section 32 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1928, that no money-order in favour of the said organization shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said organization (either by its own or any fictitious or assumed name), or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.
