A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a street the land in the Borough of Taihape described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a street:—

Being Portion of
0 0 18·2 Section 1, Block XVII, Town of Taihape; coloured blue.
0 0 0·3 Section 2 (E.R.), Block XVII, Town of Taihape; coloured red.

Situated in Block XIV, Ohinewairua (Borough of Taihape). (S.O. 2688.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83012, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of January, 1932.

Portion of Street closed in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section twelve of the Land Act, 1924, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street in the City of Wellington described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 2·52 perches. Adjoining or passing through Lot 1, D.P. 1627, being part Section 32, Karori District.

Situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington). (S.O. 2715.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 83164, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of January, 1932.

Lands set apart as Provisional State Forests declared to be subject to the Land Act, 1924.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section twenty of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Lands, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the First and Second Schedules hereto, being portions of provisional State forests set apart by Proclamations dated the twenty-second day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, respectively, and gazetted on the twenty-fifth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and the twenty-fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, respectively, are required for settlement purposes;

and, in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forests, and shall become subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1924.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Hokianga County, containing by admeasurement 204 acres, more or less, being Section 8, Block XV, Waoku Survey District, and being portion of the land set apart as provisional State forest by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette, 1920, No. 95, page 3138. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23/437/21, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 roods, more or less, being part of Provisional State Forest No. 71 (Gazette, 1920, page 924), situated in Block XII, Tairua Survey District: Bounded towards the north-west by part Provisional State Forest No. 71, 304·5 links; towards the north-east by Section 2, Block XII, Tairua Survey District, 50·0 and 472·9 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 512·7 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. X/92/67, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. Revoking the Setting-apart of Lands for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamations made on the nineteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty respectively, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and the fourteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, respectively, setting apart lands for selection by discharged soldiers under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, in so far as they relate to the lands in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.

(a) Part Awa-o-totara Block, in Block I, Moeangiangi Survey District (now known as Section 2 Block I, Moeangiangi Survey District): Area, 1,384 acres.

(b) Part Section 4, Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District, containing 410 acres, and Section 5, Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District, containing 416 acres (now known as Section 5, Block VIII, Puketapu Survey District): Area, 826 acres.

(c) Section 19s, Glengarry Settlement: Area, 92 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 24th day of December, 1931.
