I N pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section fifty of the Hawke’s Bay Earthquake Act, 1931 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the Napier Secondary Education Board shall be a local authority for the purposes of Part II of the said Act.

Vesting the Control of Lake Okataina Scenic Reserves in a Board of Control.
BLEDISLOE, Governor-General.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section seventeen of the Native Purposes Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby vest the control of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto in a Board of Control to be called the Lake Okataina Scenic Board, to hold the same in trust for the preservation of scenery, and doth hereby appoint the undermentioned persons, namely:—
Hemana Te Pohika,
Eramiha Neke,
Mika Aporo,
Topia Rotohiko,
Raimona Heretaunga,
Kepa Ehau, and
Henry Taiporutu Mitchell
to be members of the said Lake Okataina Scenic Board; and doth hereby declare that each member shall hold office for a period of five years from the date hereof, unless this Warrant shall be previously altered or revoked, or unless he shall cease to be a member under the provisions of regulations to be made for the practice and procedure of the Board.

Appointment of Chairman, Government Railways Appeal Board.

I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Government Railways Amendment Act, 1927, I, Charles, Baron Bledisloe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
John George Lewis Hewitt, of Marton, Stipendiary Magistrate,
to be a member of the Government Railways Appeal Board, and to be the Chairman of the said Board.
To hold office for a period of one year from the fourteenth day of April, 1932.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 4th day of April, 1932.

Tongariro National Park.
BY-LAW FIXING CHARGES FOR ADMISSION OF HORSES TO THE PARK.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon it by the Tongariro National Park Act, 1922, and the Tongariro National Park Amendment Act, 1927, the Tongariro National Park Board doth hereby make the following by-law fixing a charge for the admission of horses to the Tongariro National Park.
