Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of New Plymouth, the County of Taranaki, and the Waitara West Riding of the County of Taranaki.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Borough of New Plymouth are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council dated the 7th day of September, 1931, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and published in Gazette, No. 66, of the 10th day of September, 1931.
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the County of Taranaki affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
And in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the Waitara West Riding of the County of Taranaki affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH.
All that area in the Taranaki Land District, bounded towards the north generally by the sea from a point on the seashore in line with Puritutu Trig.-station and peg No. XIII on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth, and numbered 1036, to a point on the seashore in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 97, Fitzroy District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 97 to its south-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the southernmost corner of Pukeweka 17A Block; thence north-easterly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said block to its easternmost corner;
thence along the north-eastern boundary of Pukeweka 17A Block aforesaid to the sea; thence generally easterly and southerly by the sea and along the left bank of the Waiwakaiko River to the south-eastern corner of original Section 88, Fitzroy District; thence along the south-eastern boundary of part Section 88 aforesaid to the Mangorei Road; thence in the same line across the said road and along the south-eastern boundaries of other part of said Section 88, Sections 196, 87, and Native Reserve No. 22, all in Fitzroy District, to the Henui Stream; thence across this stream and generally southerly along its left bank to the southern side of Smith Road; thence south-westerly along the southern side of the said road to its junction with a public road unnamed; thence along a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 53, Grey District; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 53 to Avenue Road; thence along the eastern side of Avenue Road to the south-eastern side of Tarahua Road to Carrington Road; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of Carrington Road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of original Section 61, Grey District; thence in the same line across Carrington Road to the south-eastern corner of the said Section 61; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Section 61 aforesaid to the north-eastern boundary of Hua toki Settlement; thence along the said north-eastern boundary to Vogel Road; thence by a right line across Vogel Road and again along the north-eastern boundary of Hua toki Settlement to the north-western corner of Lot 9 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth and numbered 1797; thence south-westerly along the production of the north-western boundary of Lot 9 aforesaid to the north-eastern boundary of original Section 59, Grey District; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of the said Section 59 to Doralto Road; thence along the eastern and southern sides of Doralto Road to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 63 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth and numbered 1704; thence along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 63 to its south-eastern corner; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 63, 62, 61, 60, 73, 72, 71, 70, and 67, and north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Lots 67, 66, 65, 64, 45, 44, 43, 42, 41, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34, 33, and 32, all on plan 1704 aforesaid, to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence south-westerly along the common boundary of the Grey and Fitzroy Registration Districts to Frankley Road; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of original Section 56, Grey District; thence along the northern boundary of Section 56 aforesaid for a distance of 623·8 links; thence along a right line to the south-east corner of Section 825, Grey District; thence along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 825 aforesaid to its north-western corner; thence along a right line to the south-eastern corner of original Section 41, Fitzroy District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Section 41 aforesaid to its north-eastern corner; thence along the north-western boundaries of Section 41 aforesaid and original Section 40, Fitzroy District, to Tukapo Street; thence southerly along the eastern side of Tukapo Street to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 25 on a plan lodged in the Deeds Register Office at New Plymouth as No. 4; thence along a right line across Tukapo Street to the southernmost corner of Lot 25 aforesaid; thence along the southern boundaries of the said Lot 25 and of Lots 7 and 5 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at New Plymouth and numbered 98; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 23 and 22 on the above-mentioned deeds plan No. 4 to the south-western corner of Lot 22 aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundaries of Lots 22, 17, 16, and 1 on deeds plan No. 4 aforesaid to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned lot; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of original Section 25, Grey District, Lot 1 on deposited plan No. 98 aforesaid, and part original Section 26, Fitzroy District, to Omata Road; thence in the same line across Omata Road), Fitzroy District, to its easternmost corner; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern boundaries of the said Section 1 and of original Section 17, Fitzroy District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 17; thence along the north-western boundary of Section 17 aforesaid and the south-eastern boundary of Section 3, Grey District, and along the south-western boundary of the said Section 3 to its north-western corner;
