THIRD SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF WAITARA WEST RIDING, COUNTY OF
TARANAKI.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, bounded on the
north-west by the sea from the Borough of New Plymouth,
hereinbefore described, to the north-western corner of Section

136, Block I, Paritutu Survey District ; thence on the east
and south by the county boundary, hereinbefore described,
to the Waiwakaiho River ; thence by a line down the middle
of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary
of Section 88, Fitzroy District ; thence by the Borough of
New Plymouth, hereinbefore described, to the sea—the place
of commencement.

Also all that area bounded on the north-west by the sea,
on the north-east by the production of the western side of
Te Pula Street, on the south-east by the Borough of New
Plymouth, hereinbefore described, and on the south-west by
the south-western side of Record Street, and being Pukeweka
17A as shown on plan 581788., deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at New Plymouth.

Redefining Boundaries of the City of Christchurch, the Borough
of Riccarton, the County of Waimairi, and the Marshland
Riding of the County of Waimairi.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of
the City of Christchurch are hereby defined as set out in the
First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said city having
been altered by Order in Council made under the Municipal
Corporations Act, 1920, dated the 23rd day of November,
1931, and gazetted on the 26th day of the same month, and
by two Proclamations made under the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act, 1928, dated the 9th day of December, 1931,
and gazetted on the 17th day of the same month.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section,
the boundaries of the Borough of Riccarton affected by the
said Proclamations are hereby defined as set out in the
Second Schedule hereto.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section,
the boundaries of the County of Waimairi affected by the
said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the
Third Schedule hereto.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section,
the boundaries of the Marshland Riding of the County of
Waimairi affected by the said Order in Council are hereby
defined as set out in the Fourth Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a
line commencing at the intersection of the south-eastern
boundary of Rural Section 112 and the north-eastern side of
Langdon’s Road, and proceeding thence south-easterly along
the said north-eastern side of Langdon’s Road to the north-
western side of Main North Road ; thence north-easterly
along that side of road to the middle of the Papanui Drain ;
thence south-easterly along the middle of that drain through
Rural Sections 308, 307, 302, and 276 to the south-western
boundary of Rural Section 1048 ; thence south-easterly
along that boundary to the north-western corner of Lot 25
on plan 6279, deposited in the office of the District Land
Registrar at Christchurch ; thence along the north-western
boundary of Lots 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, and 18 on said
plan 6279, and the production of that boundary to a point
on the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on plan 6313 de-
posited as aforesaid ; thence south-easterly along the north-
eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 and that boundary pro-
duced to the south-eastern side of McFadden’s Road ; thence
along the south-eastern and south-western sides of McFadden’s
