- The permit to land in New Zealand under section 3 of
the Immigration Restriction Amendment Act, 1931, shall,
unless otherwise directed by the Minister, be in the following
form, and the conditions set forth therein shall be deemed
to be prescribed under that section.

Permit to Land in New Zealand.

PERMISSION is hereby granted to , of , to
land in New Zealand accompanied by [Strike out the words
“accompanied by” if not required] on the following con-
ditions :—

(1) That this permit will not entitle the person or persons
named herein to land in New Zealand after the expiry of
six months from the date hereof.
(2) That this permit will be delivered up to the Collector
of Customs at the first port of arrival in New Zealand.
(3) That he (she) satisfies the Collector of Customs at the
port of arrival that the particulars inserted hereunder con-
cerning himself (herself) are correct.

(4) That the condition of mental and physical health of
himself (herself) is good, and that the condition of mental
and physical health of the persons mentioned above accom-
panying him (her) is good.
(5) That he (she) is a person of good character and re-
putation; that he (she) has never been in prison or in a
mental hospital or the recipient of charitable aid; that he
(she) is not a disaffected or disloyal person or one who ad-
vocates the overthrow by force or violence of constitutional
government; that he (she) is not a member, adherent,
or supporter of the body or society commonly known as the
Third Communist International, or of any society, body, or
organization affiliated thereto or directly or indirectly con-
trolled thereby; and that he (she) is not a Communist, and
has not expressed approval of or adherence to the doctrines
of communism.
(6) If the person(s) authorized to land in New Zealand
under this permit is/are (a) person(s) to whom the Immigra-
tion Restriction Act, 1908, or the Immigration Restriction
Amendment Act, 1920, applies, the permit shall be deemed
to be revoked.

panying me) are true and correctly stated in every respect.
I do also declare that I am not a member, adherent, or sup-
porter of the body or society commonly known as the Third
Communist International, or of any society, body, or
organization affiliated thereto or directly or indirectly con-
trolled thereby; that I am not a Communist; and that I
have not expressed approval of or adherence to the doctrines
of communism.

If any application for a permit is false or misleading in
any material respect, any permit granted in pursuance of
such application shall be deemed to be revoked. -
Every person who in any declaration under these re-
gulations makes any statement which is incorrect in any
material respect commits a breach of these regulations. -
Every person to whom a permit is issued under these
regulations shall comply with all the conditions contained
in such permit, and a breach of any such conditions shall
be deemed to be a breach of these regulations. -
Every person who commits a breach of these regulations
shall be liable to a fine of £50.

Cancelling the Reservation over Reserves in Village of Longridge, Southland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
March, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section
seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby cancel the reservation as reserves for tree-
planting purposes over the lands described in the Schedule
hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands being
vested in the Crown are Crown lands available for disposal
under the Land Act, 1924.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT.
SECTIONS 7 to 21 (inclusive), Block I, Village of Longridge:

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of
March, 1932.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section thirty of the Rabbit Nuisance
Act, 1928, it is enacted that the Governor-General
may, by Order in Council, on petition in that behalf signed
by a majority of the persons qualified to be enrolled on the
ratepayers’ list of any proposed district, constitute and declare
any area of land of not less than one thousand acres a rabbit
district under and for the purposes of Part II of the said Act:
And whereas, in pursuance of the provisions of the said
section thirty of the said Act, a petition has been received
praying that the area of land described in the Schedule hereto
be constituted and declared a rabbit district under and for
the purposes of Part II of the said Act, and it is deemed
expedient to give effect to the prayer of the petitioners
accordingly :
